Almadex Expands Claim Block at New Hope, Provides Exploration Update
Almadex continues expanding its claim package around early-stage porphyry drill results that show weak grades.

Almadex Minerals Ltd. (DEX) has completed its 2026 drill program at the New Hope copper-gold porphyry project in Arizona. The company completed two diamond drill holes from the same pad. Hole 2 intersected 6.00m @ 0.15% Cu and 156 ppm Mo, including 2.00m @ 0.34% Cu and 326 ppm Mo. Hole 1 intersected andesite porphyry with phyllic alteration but no significant copper mineralization.
Drilling confirmed a large porphyry alteration system and a tourmaline-bearing breccia pipe. True widths cannot be calculated due to complex veining and brecciation. The company expanded its claim block eastward by 2.5 km x 0.75 km, targeting high chargeability and mapped alteration.
One hole was completed at the King project in Colorado; samples are pending assay. Management is designing a Phase II drilling program for New Hope.
Almadex Minerals Ltd. (DEX) released an exploration update rather than an earnings report, with financial impact limited to exploration expenditures and minor royalty income. Following the announcement, the stock declined from $0.36 on Oct 20 to $0.34 on Oct 21, reflecting skepticism toward the weak grades and lack of near-term commercial potential. The news represents a continuation of early-stage generative exploration with no production timeline or reserve definition.
