Cosa Announces Results of Partner Funded Airborne Radiometric Survey at the Aurora Uranium Project, Athabasca Basin, Saskatchewan
Cosa advances Aurora targets with a partner-funded radiometric survey ahead of planned fall drilling.

Cosa Resources Corp. (COSA) has released results from a property-wide airborne radiometric and magnetic survey at its Aurora uranium project, which was fully funded by partner Traction Uranium Corp. The survey identified multiple uranium-source radiometric anomalies adjacent to prospective basement features and delivered a high-resolution magnetic model of the area.
Integration with 2024 electromagnetic and gravity surveying has improved or identified several target areas. A follow-up drill program is planned for fall 2026, which will be 100% funded by Traction, following completion of drilling at Cosa's Murphy Lake North and Darby joint ventures.
Traction holds an option to earn up to an 80% interest in Aurora by sole-funding $9.15 million in exploration expenditures and completing cash and share payments.
The announcement confirms the execution of the partner-funded work plan, which was already incorporated into the company’s strategic outlook and capital allocation. Traction Uranium bears 100% of the survey and upcoming drill costs, introducing no new financial commitments or equity dilution.
The results are geologically encouraging but incremental, validating the basement model without yet defining a resource or triggering immediate revenue. Given the company's primary focus and capital deployment on the Murphy Lake North and Darby joint ventures, this Aurora update serves as a secondary, low-impact catalyst for the near term.
Cosa Resources Corp. (COSA) is a uranium exploration company focused on the Athabasca Basin in Saskatchewan, Canada. Its flagship projects are the Murphy Lake North (MLN) and Darby joint ventures with Denison Mines, structured with a 70/30 split.
MLN hosts the Cyclone trend, which recently intersected 5.0m @ 0.55% U3O8 including 0.5m @ 1.70% U3O8, with significant nickel and cobalt byproducts. Darby is located near Cameco's Cigar Lake mine, with winter 2026 drilling highlighting >100m of anomalous sandstone uranium at the Charlie trend.
The company also holds 100% interests in underexplored properties like Astro, Aurora, and Orbit, leveraging partner-funded exploration to advance the portfolio.
