Phenom Commences Drilling at Dobbin Gold Project, Nevada
Phenom begins drilling at the Dobbin project, awaiting assay results from its SSR-backed exploration activities.

Phenom Resources Corp. has initiated core drilling at its Dobbin Gold Project in central Nevada. The program is designed to target a 2.1 km long, 200 m wide gold soil anomaly with values ranging from 0.1 g/t to 2.73 g/t Au. Permits authorize up to 26 core holes across 13 sites and 12 mechanical trenches totaling 5,291 feet.
Drilling will test lower plate Paleozoic carbonate units down to 1,200 feet, aiming to verify a Carlin-type gold system. Geological advisors have confirmed the presence of key Carlin deposit ingredients, including near-surface gold, a feeder structure, and typical alteration and pathfinder metals.
Phenom Resources Corp. (PHNM) has begun drilling at its project, marking the execution of a previously announced plan. The company received its U.S. Forest Service permit on July 6, 2026, and closed $5.41 million in financing to fund the program on June 29, 2026.
The market had already priced in the start of drilling. The stock declined from approximately $0.50 in early June to $0.33 by late July, reflecting investor caution and a preference for actual assay data over administrative milestones. The news aligns with historical expectations and management guidance, confirming operational progress without introducing new geological data, financial terms, or strategic shifts.
Separately, the company filed a provisional patent for a vanadium-nickel flowsheet on July 23. This is an incremental development that does not alter the immediate focus on Dobbin gold exploration.
Phenom Resources Corp. (PHNM) is a Nevada-based exploration company focused on gold and critical metals, including vanadium and rare earth elements (REEs). Its flagship asset is the Dobbin Gold Project, a Carlin-type gold target that features a 2.1 km soil anomaly, historical trenching results up to 10.35 g/t Au, and strong arsenic and mercury pathfinders.
The company also holds additional assets, including Crescent Valley, a Bonanza-type epithermal gold and IOCG REE deposit; King Solomon, a Carlin-type gold property with historic antimony and silver; and Carlin Vanadium, which hosts North America's largest high-grade primary vanadium resource. Phenom Resources is currently in the exploration and early-stage resource definition phase, actively pursuing drilling, trenching, and metallurgical testwork.
