Generation Uranium Applauds Atha Energy's Uranium Discovery At LAC50NW On The Angilak Project Just South Of It's Own Yath Project
Generation expands summer field work at Yath after a neighbor’s discovery validated the project’s exploration targets.

Generation Uranium Inc. (GEN) highlighted Atha Energy’s recent high-grade uranium discovery at LAC50NW on the adjacent Angilak Project, stating that the find validates its own exploration models. Consequently, the company has prioritized the LAC 50 trend and the northern gravity high extension on its Yath Project.
The firm confirmed that its 2026 summer field program is active, with geologists integrating historic data, ExpertGeophysics MMT conductors, and field observations to define new drill targets. The company also included a market outlook citing Shaw and Partners, which forecasts a potential uranium price spike to US$200/lb due to structural supply deficits.
Historic data from the Yath Project includes surface samples up to 9.8% U₃O₈ and a drill intersection of 1.0m at 0.224% U₃O₈ from 25.5m.
The company noted that validation from a neighbor's discovery is expected to be incremental, stating that this does not constitute a new drill result or resource estimate from Generation itself.
The release included standard market commentary regarding the uranium price forecast, which does not alter the company's immediate operational or financial position. No material change to capital needs or corporate structure was disclosed in this specific release, though the update follows the recent CSE listing change and suspended flow-through placement.
Generation Uranium Inc. (GEN) is an early-stage Canadian exploration company focused on its 100%-owned Yath Project in Nunavut's Angilak district. The project covers approximately 18,215 hectares and sits within the Thelon Basin, adjacent to Atha Energy's highly active Angilak Project.
Exploration at the site targets unconformity-style uranium deposits using modern geophysics, including MMT surveys, alongside the integration of historic data. No NI 43-101 resources or reserves have been reported to date. Historic data includes high-grade surface samples and limited RC drilling.
The company recently transitioned from the TSX-V to the CSE to reduce fees and redirect capital toward exploration.
