Generation Uranium Starts Summer 2026 Field Program at the Yath Project, Kivalliq Region, Nunavut. Project,

Generation Uranium Inc. (GEN) announced the commencement of its inaugural field program at the Yath Project in the Kivalliq Region of Nunavut. The initiative is designed to define discrete drill targets for future exploration by utilizing data from an Expert Geophysics MMT survey and historical databases to ground-truth anomalies and integrate conductors into existing targets. The company aims to deliver a ranked drill target program pending the receipt of necessary permits.

The technical approach involves the ground integration of MMT conductors into 17 original targets, the ground checking of new targets defined by the survey, and the review of conductors on trend with Atha Energy's LAC 50 historic deposit. The Yath Project is located in the Angikuni Basin, surrounded by Atha Energy's Angilak Project, which has three drills running and made five new discoveries in 2025.

The release highlights specific high-priority exploration targets, including the VGR Trend, BOG–Embryo Creek Trend, Lucky Break Area, and SC-13 Zone. The VGR Trend extends approximately 5 km along a major fault structure with elevated radioactivity and clay-silica alteration. Grab samples from this area reached 3.75% U₃O₈. Four RC drill holes showed encouraging results, with one hole recording 5,000–15,000 cps over the upper 65 metres. A rock grab sample returned 1.65% U₃O₈.

The BOG–Embryo Creek Trend hosts a 3-km radioactive corridor concealed by overburden. Historical prospecting found high-grade showings, including: * MM81-276 returned 9.81% U₃O₈, 0.73% Cu, 0.79% MoS₂, and 3.7 oz/ton Ag. * DAB-81-200 returned 2.14% U₃O₈. * Drillhole BOG-8-80 returned 1.0 m at 0.224% U₃O₈ from 25.5 m.

The Lucky Break Area features highly radioactive rocks with multiple metals and pitchblende in quartz-carbonate breccia veins near the surface. The SC-13 Zone contains two historical trenches with significant uranium values. Trench A averaged 0.82 lb/ton U₃O₈ with a peak of 0.188% U₃O₈. Trench B averaged 1.79 lb/ton U₃O₈ over 8.4 metres with a peak of 0.52% U₃O₈. Local radioactivity in this zone reached up to 80,000 cps.

Michael Collins, CEO, stated, "I joined Generation 8 months ago in November 2025 because I believe Yath has exceptional discovery potential. 2026 is where it is all starting to come together with the final MMT survey being complete, and target selection in anticipation of drilling." He added, "I envy our Geology team’s opportunity to be a part of this project at such a pivotal moment but I also think they have a tough job sifting through so many great targets."

The release also included a "Uranium Outlook 2026" citing Shaw and Partners, which forecasts potential price spikes toward US$200/lb due to supply deficits and rising demand from AI data centers and nuclear expansion.
