Discovery Confirms Presence of Large-Scale Deposit at Pamour

Discovery targets 500 koz/yr using the Kidd mill, while Pamour drilling yields solid but non-differentiating gold hits.

Executive Summary

Discovery Silver Corp. (DSV) reported assay results from 47 holes totaling 11,003 meters at the Pamour open-pit gold mine in Timmins. These results are part of a 255,000–285,000 meter exploration program scheduled for 2026.

The release highlighted intercepts across several zones. At Pamour West, results included 11.54 g/t Au over 5.1 m, 10.38 g/t over 6.8 m, and 27.00 g/t over 1.0 m. The Central Pit returned 3.05 g/t over 30.0 m and 8.04 g/t over 6.5 m. The West Pit showed 3.63 g/t over 9.9 m, while the North Contact Zone yielded 4.27 g/t over 12.8 m and 6.84 g/t over 8.5 m. The Keora Trend recorded 17.36 g/t over 5.9 m.

The mineralizing system is traced over a 4 km strike length and extends from 300 m to 700 m depth, remaining open. Existing resources include an Indicated category of 64.8 Mt @ 1.30 g/t (2.70 moz gold) and an Inferred category of 23.3 Mt @ 1.34 g/t (1.00 moz). The release promotes Pamour’s potential to become one of Canada’s largest open-pit gold mines.

Material Impact

Discovery Silver Corp. (DSV) is now a producer generating 180–300 koz/yr of gold, a status that distinguishes it from pre-resource explorers. Drill results at its existing mine, which holds a 3.7 moz resource, are generally considered less material than discovery holes at grassroots projects. The reported intercepts align with and marginally exceed the current resource grade, without obviously transforming the resource size or grade enough to alter the stock’s fundamental value.

The market’s revealed expectation shows the stock in a downtrend from $11.77 in late January 2026 to $7.72. This decline occurred despite the Kidd acquisition, which closed on June 1, and previously reported high-grade results at Hoyle Pond/Borden on April 23, which failed to lift the stock. The market appears to have priced in growth and is now concerned about execution and costs. This Pamour news is unlikely to change that narrative.

The release confirms and modestly extends the known deposit but brings no new discovery, representing routine activity for a producer with an aggressive drill program.

Company Overview

Discovery Silver Corp. (DSV) is a gold and silver producer that acquired the Porcupine complex in Timmins, Ontario, in April 2025. The company produced approximately 180,000 ounces of gold in the stub year and is guiding for 260,000 to 300,000 ounces in 2026.

Through the June 2026 acquisition of Glencore’s Kidd Operations, Discovery Silver now owns the Kidd Met Site processing facility and the Kidd Creek base-metal mine. The company is targeting a doubling of gold output to more than 500,000 ounces per year.

The company also holds the feasibility-stage Cordero silver project in Mexico, which contains a large reserve. Current operations are focused on upgrading and expanding the Timmins mines—Hoyle Pond, Borden, Pamour, and Dome—and beginning development on the TVZ project.
