Discovery Announces Continued Exploration Success at Borden, Extends Main Zone Over Half a Kilometre
Discovery’s Borden step-out extends the Main Zone 500m down-plunge, confirming high-grade orogenic system grades underground.

Discovery Silver Corp. (DSV) announced assay results from 22 holes totaling 7,411.6 meters at the Borden Mine, targeting the Main Zone and East Lower Zone (ELZ).
A surface step-out hole, BL26-001119, returned 6.34 g/t Au over 8.7 m (including 11.04 g/t over 3.7 m), extending the Main Zone over 500 m down-plunge northeast of the current inferred resource.
Underground drilling from the 585-drift delivered high-grade intercepts: * Hole 585-00275: 9.16 g/t over 25.9 m (including 18.40 g/t over 4.0 m and 21.52 g/t over 4.8 m) * Hole 585-00142: 12.79 g/t over 7.3 m * Hole 585-00306: 9.23 g/t over 14.0 m * Hole 585-00305: 4.75 g/t over 19.3 m
The ELZ returned 13.33 g/t over 13.2 m (including 31.04 g/t over 4.7 m) in hole 585-00291. Four underground and two surface rigs are active to convert and extend resources.
Discovery Silver Corp. (DSV) is a mid-tier gold producer that reported first-quarter 2026 production of 60,269 ounces. The company holds a large resource base across its Porcupine Complex, which includes the Dome property with 11 million ounces of inferred resources, the Pamour property with 2.7 million ounces of indicated resources, and the Hoyle Pond, Borden, and TVZ assets. While Borden contributes to the portfolio, it is not the flagship asset.
Recent drilling at Borden represents a 500-meter step-out that expands the mineralized footprint incrementally rather than constituting a transformative discovery. The company is well-financed, and the market has already anticipated exploration success following a string of positive drill results. The stock rose from approximately $9.50 to $10.95 between August 4 and 7 following the prior release of results from Dome, TVZ, and Owl Creek, indicating that some of this optimism was already priced in. These Borden results are consistent with the ongoing growth narrative.
Discovery Silver Corp. (DSV) became a gold producer in April 2025 after acquiring the Porcupine Complex in Timmins, Ontario, from Newmont. The complex comprises the Hoyle Pond, Borden, Pamour (open pit), and Dome mines, along with the TVZ and Owl Creek advanced projects. In June 2026, the company completed the acquisition of Glencore’s Kidd operations, which added a large metallurgical site, tailings capacity, and base-metal production. Discovery also holds the Cordero silver project in Mexico, which is in the development stage.
The company provided 2026 gold production guidance of 260,000 to 300,000 ounces, following 234,700 ounces produced in fiscal year 2025 after the acquisition. At the end of the first quarter of 2026, liquidity stood at $385 million in cash and a $250 million undrawn revolving credit facility.
