Founders Metals Provides Mid-Year Exploration Update Across Four Targets; Confirms New Antino Northeast Discovery with 58.5 m of 1.00 g/t Gold

Founders’ Antino Northeast discovery adds broad, low-grade strike length to its portfolio, though sparse disclosure limits its immediate significance.

Executive Summary

Founders Metals Inc. (FDR) released a mid-year exploration update covering four targets at its 102,360-hectare Antino Gold Project in Suriname.

At the Antino Northeast target, first-ever drilling confirmed a 1,200-meter strike length. Hole ANE009 returned 58.5 meters at 1.00 grams per tonne gold (g/t Au) from 18.6 meters, including 18.0 meters at 1.59 g/t Au. Hole ANE002 returned 53.0 meters at 0.46 g/t Au from 149.0 meters, including 8.0 meters at 2.29 g/t Au. Mineralization remains open in all directions, with the majority of the auger anomaly still untested.

Drilling at Antino North confirmed mineralization on three of twelve mapped shear zones. Hole AN002 returned 16.5 meters at 1.82 g/t Au, including 3.0 meters at 6.38 g/t Au. Hole AN009 returned 8.1 meters at 3.42 g/t Au from surface. Other holes at this target returned lower-grade intervals.

At Maria Geralda, fifteen new deep auger holes expanded a high-grade gold shoot. The new intercepts include: - MGAD061: 30.0 meters at 4.52 g/t Au - MGAD062: 23.0 meters at 5.31 g/t Au - MGAD074: 9.0 meters at 6.24 g/t Au - MGAD060: 30.0 meters at 3.69 g/t Au

Mineralization remains open at the 30-meter auger limit, with diamond drilling scheduled to begin in early August.

At Antino West, hole FR251 intersected a 35-meter-wide shear zone with visible gold, though assays are pending. This discovery is located 50 meters along strike from the prior FR217 discovery.

Material Impact

Founders Metals Inc. (FDR) is a pre-resource junior explorer with a district-scale land package and a fully funded 70,000 m program. The market currently prices significant discovery optionality into the company’s C$482M market capitalization.

The Antino Northeast discovery represents a new, untested area that broadens the company’s footprint. However, the grades are low and comparable to the previously disclosed Lower Antino system. Founders Metals already possesses multiple high-grade and bulk-tonnage targets.

The stock recently declined from the $5.00+ area to $3.61, recovering to $4.17 before the release. The market appears to be in a “show me” phase, demanding exceptional results to justify the valuation.

Given the modest gram-metre values, lack of true width, and peripheral disclosure, the news is likely seen as an incremental positive rather than a material catalyst.

Company Overview

Founders Metals Inc. (FDR) is an advanced gold explorer holding a 70% interest in the 102,360‑ha Antino Gold Project in southeastern Suriname on the Guiana Shield, where historic artisanal production exceeds 500,000 oz. A C$50M strategic investment from Gold Fields, which increased its stake from 10.55% to 12.5%, fully funded the ongoing 70,000‑m drill campaign, with multiple rigs currently active.

Key exploration targets include Upper Antino, characterized by high-grade mineralization over a 2.5 km strike; Lower Antino, focused on bulk tonnage over a 1.9 km strike; Antino North; and newly added targets Antino Northeast and other regional prospects. The company maintains a strong cash position of approximately $47M as of February 2026 with no debt, though it generates no revenue, which is typical for a junior explorer.
