Grizzly Identifies Significant Sulphide Bearing, Intrusion-Related Porphyry Target at Sappho, Greenwood BC

Grizzly Discoveries extends its Sappho chargeability anomaly 800m east and 600m south at the Sappho project.

Executive Summary

Grizzly Discoveries Inc. (GZD) announced preliminary results from a Phase 2 Induced Polarization (IP) survey at its Sappho Critical Minerals Target in British Columbia. The survey successfully extended a significant chargeability anomaly up to 600 m south and 800 m east, with intensities ranging from 30 mV/V to over 105 mV/V. These readings are interpreted as disseminated sulphides associated with a porphyry target.

A new deeper chargeability anomaly was detected on the southeast part of the grid, likely against a main Sappho fault, with intensities of 30 to >100 mV/V.

The company completed 1,485 m of core drilling across seven holes targeting the adjacent Sappho Skarn Target for Cu-Au-Ag-PGEs. Assay results are pending verification and interpretation.

Grizzly staked 35 new Bureau of Land Management (BLM) lode mineral claims in Washington State to cover the southern extent of the anomaly near the US border. Permitting is underway for additional drillhole pads to test the chargeability target later in the year.

Ongoing exploration includes trenching, rock sampling, and planned IP, magnetics, and Loupe EM surveys across multiple targets.

Material Impact

Grizzly Discoveries Inc. released its latest update on July 6, serving as a direct follow-up to the February 2026 IP mobilization and the April 2026 drilling commencement announcements. Historical news indicates a logical, step-by-step exploration progression where geophysical surveys delineate targets, followed by drilling to test those targets. The extension of the IP anomaly to 800 m east and 600 m south is consistent with the company's stated exploration plan.

The completion of 1,485 m of drilling represents an operational milestone, though the lack of assay results means the financial and valuation impact remains unquantified at this stage. Additionally, the staking of 35 claims in Washington State is a standard exploratory move to secure ground where geophysical anomalies cross borders, but it does not immediately translate to near-term production or revenue. Given the incremental nature of the IP extension and the pending status of the drilling results, the market impact is expected to be limited. The news aligns with previous expectations and does not introduce fundamentally new valuation drivers.

Company Overview

Grizzly Discoveries Inc. is an exploration-stage company focused on precious and critical metals in the Greenwood District of British Columbia, Canada. The company holds a ~180,000-acre contiguous land package, making it one of the largest in the district.

Flagship projects include Sappho (Cu-Au-Ag-PGEs), Motherlode (Cu-Co-Au-Ag), Midway (Au-Ag-Cu-Pb-Zn), and Imperial. The Greenwood District has a historic production legacy of over 7 million ounces of gold, with nearby operations like Kinross Buckhorn and Calibre Golden Eagle providing district-scale exploration context.

The company is currently in the active exploration phase, utilizing IP surveys, diamond drilling, and surface sampling to define drill-ready targets.
