Grizzly Identifies Significant Chargeability Anomalies at the Motherlode - Greyhound Critical Minerals Target Area Greenwood, BC
Grizzly Discoveries identifies new porphyry targets via Motherlode IP survey ahead of a planned drilling program.

Grizzly Discoveries Inc. announced preliminary results from a Phase 2 Induced Polarization (IP) survey conducted in April and May 2026 at its Motherlode Critical Minerals Target in Greenwood, BC. The survey identified at least five discrete chargeability anomalies, with four showing strong readings of 30–52 mV/V near the Greyhound, Sunset, and Motherlode Pits. Two of these anomalies measure approximately 1 km by 500 m and remain open for expansion, interpreted as disseminated sulphides potentially indicating intrusion-related skarn and/or porphyry targets.
Geochemical context shows moderate to strong copper and gold in soils and rocks, with pit areas yielding copper greater than 1% up to 5% and gold greater than 1 g/t up to 20 g/t. Permitting for drill locations is underway, with a fall drilling program planned for the Motherlode, Sappho, and Midway areas. Assay methodology and QA/QC protocols are detailed, with analytical work performed by ALS Global Limited.
In July 2026, the company issued 1,183,335 common shares upon warrant exercises, generating $59,167 in gross proceeds. Post-exercise share count stands at 234,021,369.
Grizzly Discoveries Inc. (GZD) released an incremental exploration update consistent with its ongoing 2026 field program. The announcement did not disclose new resource estimates, major financing, or corporate transactions.
Induced polarization (IP) results validated the geological model and support planned fall drilling. However, the market has already priced in this exploration trajectory through previous geophysical and drilling updates, such as the July 2026 Sappho drilling results.
Additionally, a warrant exercise of $59k was minor in scale and did not materially alter the company’s capital structure or cash position.
Grizzly Discoveries Inc. is an exploration-stage company focused on the Greenwood District in southeastern British Columbia. The company controls a ~180,000-acre contiguous land package targeting copper, gold, silver, cobalt, and platinum group elements (PGEs). Key targets include Sappho (Cu-Au-Ag-PGE skarn/porphyry), Motherlode (historical Cu-Co-Au-Ag producer), Midway (high-grade Au-Ag-Pb-Zn), and several other prospects. The district has a historic production background of over 7 million ounces of gold, with neighboring projects like Kinross Buckhorn and Calibre Golden Eagle demonstrating regional scale. The company is in the active exploration phase, utilizing geophysics, surface sampling, and diamond drilling to define drill-ready targets.
