Azimut and Centerra Amend Option Agreement for the Corvet and Kaanaayaa Properties
Azimut reduces the Corvet-Kaanaayaa option spend by $250,000 while keeping the deal intact.

Azimut Exploration Inc. (AZM) has entered into an amendment to its option agreement with a wholly owned subsidiary of Centerra Gold Inc. regarding the Corvet and Kaanaayaa properties in Quebec. The amendment reduces the Year 6 minimum exploration expenditure from $1,500,000 to $1,250,000. Total minimum exploration expenditures required for Centerra to earn up to a 70% interest are lowered from $10,000,000 to $9,750,000. The total aggregate consideration (exploration expenditures plus cash payments) is reduced to $16,600,000. Cash payments remain unchanged at up to $850,000. The transaction remains subject to TSX Venture Exchange acceptance and relies on an exemption from minority shareholder approval under NI 61-101.
Azimut Exploration Inc. (AZM) announced a minor adjustment to the option agreement originally disclosed on October 13, 2026. The update reduces Year 6 expenditures by $250,000, a change that slightly lowers the financial burden on Centerra. This adjustment does not materially alter Azimut’s strategic exposure or valuation. The market was already aware of the Centerra partnership and the associated expenditures, and no new fundamental catalysts are introduced.
