Percussion drilling program under way at Leviathan Metals' Serule and Foley Uranium Projects, Botswana
Leviathan begins uranium drilling in Botswana as cash reserves near depletion.

Leviathan Metals Corp. (LVX) has initiated a combined Reverse Circulation (RC) and open-hole percussion drilling program of up to 2,500 meters at its 100%-owned Serule and Foley uranium projects in Botswana. The program aims to test the continuation of westward-dipping uranium mineralization observed at the adjoining Letlhakane property, where Lotus Resources has reported significant Indicated and Inferred Mineral Resources.
Historic 2024 RC drilling by the former owner returned grades between 196 and 1,247 ppm U3O8, with a highlight of 10 meters at 415 ppm U3O8. The Letse target will test possible extensions to mineralization on the southern flank of Letlhakane, while Foley sees first-pass drilling following 2024 surface radiometric anomalies.
Diamond drilling at the Central Project (Kalahari Copper Belt) continues with slightly over 6,000 meters completed; assays are outstanding and will be reported upon receipt. Drilling is contracted to Gesondheid (Pty) Ltd. (Rotsdrill Exploration) with wireline logging by Digital Borehole Surveying Botswana.
Leviathan Metals Corp. (LVX) has confirmed the execution of its planned exploration budget in Botswana, a move that aligns with management’s stated 2026 roadmap. This announcement serves as a procedural step following the company’s $10 million financing in May 2026 and the acquisition of Cura in November 2025.
The company did not provide any assay results, meaning the market cannot yet price in geological success or failure. Given Leviathan Metals’ low cash position of $782,000 as of March 2026, the ability to fund this program without immediate dilution represents a positive operational milestone. However, the lack of near-term assay data limits the immediate impact on the stock price, with the market likely to treat this as routine progress until actual grade and width data are released.
Leviathan Metals Corp. (LVX) is a pre-revenue junior explorer focused on copper, uranium, and polymetallic deposits in Botswana, Bosnia, and Australia. The company’s flagship copper asset is the Central Project on the Kalahari Copper Belt (KCB) in Botswana, which adjoins MMG's Khoemacau mine. This target focuses on sediment-hosted copper at the DKF-NPF contact within the Hyena Hills dome.
In uranium, the company holds the Serule and Foley projects in Botswana, adjacent to Lotus Resources' Letlhakane project, where historic drilling has shown high-grade uranium intervals. Its flagship base metals asset is the Foca Project in Bosnia, targeting high-grade Zn-Pb-Ag mineralization along the Vrela-Kremin trend. Leviathan Metals’ strategy involves acquiring large, strategic land packages in mining-friendly jurisdictions, using high-resolution geophysics to vector targets, and drilling to define resources.
