Sable Expands Cu-Au Footprint and Identifies New Copper and Gold Targets Ahead of Maiden Drill Program at the Zorro Project, San Juan, Argentina
Sable expands copper-gold targets via a zorro soil survey ahead of maiden drilling at its Argentine project.

Sable Resources Ltd. (SAE) has released results from a 1,719-sample soil geochemistry survey conducted at its Zorro Project in San Juan, Argentina. The survey identified two distinct mineralized domains: a western Cu-Ag-Bi-W domain encompassing the Zorro Copper and Zorro North targets, and an eastern Au-Ag-Zn-As-Pb domain designated as Zorro Gold.
A new significant gold anomaly, Zorro Gold, was identified on the eastern margin, measuring 1,600m by 1,000m. Historic artisanal mines in this area have returned grades of up to 140 g/t Au. Additionally, the Zorro North target footprint was significantly extended to greater than 2,000m by 1,000m, featuring a large core of high-grade silver samples. Lead and zinc anomalies were also noted, forming an elongated north-south trend approximately 2,200m long.
A maiden diamond drill program is scheduled for the second half of July 2026 to test five specific targets: Zorro Copper, Zorro North, Zorro Breccia, an IP anomaly, and Zorro Gold.
The announcement aligns with previous disclosures, including January 2026 rock sampling and an April 2026 IP survey, and does not introduce fundamentally new discovery data or financial milestones.
The identification of a new gold target and the extension of Zorro North strengthen the geological model but remain within the bounds of expected exploration progression. There is no material change to the company's financial position or near-term catalysts beyond the already announced July drilling campaign. The market has already priced in this exploration progression, characterizing the update as incremental and expected.
