IsoEnergy Confirms High-Grade Uranium Intersections Along the Hurricane South Trend, Including up to 15.4% U3O8 500 m East of the Deposit

IsoEnergy reports high-grade assays at Hurricane South, though narrow widths leave growth potential unproven.

Executive Summary

IsoEnergy Ltd. (ISO) reported assay results from its completed 2026 summer exploration program at Larocque East, which hosts the Hurricane uranium deposit in the eastern Athabasca Basin. The program drilled 26 holes totaling 10,159 m, with three holes abandoned in sandstone. Assays were received for 18 of the 26 holes, confirming that previously released RS-125 radiometric anomalies correspond to elevated uranium geochemistry. Eight holes were not sampled for uranium assay because they did not return significantly elevated radioactivity.

Key reported intervals include:

  • LE26-254, East L fault target, 500 m east of the Hurricane deposit: 4.17% U3O8 over 2.0 m from 331.5 m, including 5.44% U3O8 over 1.5 m, including 15.4% U3O8 over 0.5 m. The 2.0 m composite includes one 0.5 m sample at 0.18% U3O8 that was below the 350 cps radiometric selection threshold.
  • LE26-250, West L fault target, 75 m east of LE26-248: 3.86% U3O8 over 3.5 m from 341.0 m, including 5.24% U3O8 over 2.5 m, including 13.8% U3O8 over 0.5 m.
  • LE26-273, West L fault target within the southern portion of the deposit, 11 m west of LE26-248: 3.53% U3O8 over 3.0 m from 328.0 m, including 5.02% U3O8 over 2.0 m, including 10.8% U3O8 over 0.5 m.
  • LE26-260, K fault target, 45 m east of the deposit: 1.03% U3O8 over 2.0 m, including 1.88% U3O8 over 0.5 m. The broader interval was 0.56% U3O8 over 4.5 m.
  • Lower-grade or narrower results included LE26-257 at 0.246% U3O8 over 4.5 m, LE26-263 at 0.91% U3O8 over 1.0 m, LE26-251 at 0.319% U3O8 over 3.0 m, and LE26-264 at 0.170% U3O8 over 5.0 m.
  • Barren or non-significant holes included LE26-255, LE26-271, LE26-258, LE26-259, LE26-265B, LE26-267, LE26-262, and LE26-266A.

The release repeats the current Hurricane mineral resource of 48.6 Mlb U3O8 at 34.5% U3O8 indicated and 2.7 Mlb U3O8 at 2.2% U3O8 inferred. It states that all reported intervals are drillhole depths and lengths, not true thickness, and that true thickness has yet to be determined. Dr. Dan Brisbin, P.Geo., is named as the Qualified Person. The release refers readers to the April 7, 2026, release for QA/QC procedures.

Material Impact

IsoEnergy Ltd. (ISO) is a pre-revenue uranium explorer and developer with a defined high-grade resource at Hurricane and a diversified portfolio of assets in Canada, the U.S., and Australia. As the company is not yet a producer, this drill release is evaluated against existing expectations for resource expansion at Hurricane rather than against reserves or mine-life replacement.

The release confirms that summer radiometric anomalies represent real uranium mineralization. The company reported a 500 m east step-out at 4.17% U3O8 over 2.0 m, a 75 m east step-out at 3.86% U3O8 over 3.5 m, and a higher-grade intercept within the southern deposit at 3.53% U3O8 over 3.0 m. These results support the hypothesis that the L fault zone can carry high-grade mineralization beyond the current footprint.

However, the results do not yet alter the resource, mine plan, or net asset value. The best new grade-thickness is slightly below the LE26-248 anchor, the high-grade intervals are narrow, true width is unconfirmed, and continuity between the high-grade holes is not established. The stock is near the low end of its 52-week range and has already priced in the radiometric results, making the assays largely a confirmation event. The expected share-price impact is supportive rather than transformative.
