Brunswick Exploration Reports 1.73% Li2O Over 302 Meters Including 142 Meters at 1.97% Li2O at the Anatacau Main Project
Brunswick confirms 302 m at 1.73% Li2O at Anatacau.

Brunswick Exploration Inc. (BRW) has reported assay results for hole AN-26-17 at its Anatacau Main Project in Quebec. The company identified a headline intercept of 302.05 meters at 1.73% Li2O, extending from 295.25 meters to 597.30 meters downhole. Within this interval, a higher-grade sub-interval of 142 meters at 1.97% Li2O was recorded from 426 meters to 568 meters.
The company estimates the true thickness of the interval at approximately 80% of the drilled length, implying a true width of roughly 242 meters. The interval contains approximately 3% host-rock xenoliths altered by holmquistite. The hole was terminated at 631 meters due to drill-rig depth capacity while still within the LCT pegmatite.
Assays for holes AN-26-14 and AN-26-16, which were drilled outside the Anais dyke, remain pending. Additionally, assays for the remainder of AN-26-17, which intersected several other pegmatites, are also pending. The release does not state a cutoff grade, though prior Anatacau releases have used a 0.30% Li2O cutoff. The company describes the result as among the best lithium intercepts on a grade-meter basis since 2015.
Brunswick Exploration Inc. (BRW) reported assay results from a new drill hole at its Anatacau lithium project, delivering a significant step-out that extends the mineralized dyke to approximately 500 meters vertical depth. The new intercept spans 302.05 meters at 1.73% Li2O, representing an estimated true width of about 418 %-m. This interval is located approximately 100 meters below the previous anchor hole, AN-26-15, which returned 202.45 meters at 1.31% Li2O with an estimated true thickness of 75% on October 8, 2026.
The new result marks a substantial increase in both grade and thickness compared to the prior discovery. The 302.05-meter interval at 1.73% Li2O is roughly 32% higher in grade, 49% longer in downhole length, and 59% greater in estimated true width than the earlier 202.45-meter intercept. The total grade-meter substance has increased by approximately 97%. Within the broader interval, a 142-meter high-grade core returned 1.97% Li2O.
The Anatacau project remains in the explorer-stage, pre-resource phase, meaning the absence of a defined resource, metallurgical testing, or mine plan is the baseline state rather than a new negative. The confirmation of a 242-meter true-width lithium intercept that remains open at depth adds material scale to the project's thesis.
Market reaction to the initial visual release of the 302-meter width on October 15 saw the stock spike from C$0.16 to C$0.24, before fading to C$0.21 by November 3. The stock had previously risen from C$0.14 on September 16, 2026, to C$0.19 on September 17, and reached C$0.25 by October 1. At C$0.21, the share price remains well below its 52-week high of C$0.38, set in January 2026 on the Mirage resource, and above its 52-week low of C$0.12. With a market capitalization of approximately C$59 million, the company’s valuation has not fully embedded the significance of the new high-grade intercept.
Brunswick Exploration Inc. (TSX-V: BRW), a Montreal-based lithium explorer with listings on the OTCQB and Frankfurt exchanges, maintains a portfolio focused on hard-rock lithium projects in Quebec, Greenland, and Saudi Arabia.
In Quebec, the company’s Mirage property hosts an inferred mineral resource of 52.2 million tonnes at 1.08% Li2O and 131 ppm Ta2O5, containing approximately 563,000 tonnes of Li2O at a 0.5% Li2OEq cutoff. An exploration target of 40-50 million tonnes at 0.80-1.10% Li2O has also been disclosed, with initial testwork supporting a DMS-only flowsheet. BRW holds a 90% interest in the Anatacau Main and West properties, with a right of first refusal on the remaining 10% held by Electric Elements Mining Corp. The Anatacau Main property hosts the Anais discovery, while Anatacau West is contiguous to Rio Tinto’s James Bay lithium project.
In Greenland, the Nuuk project features an early-stage spodumene-bearing pegmatite discovery, with a maiden drill program planned. In Saudi Arabia, the company holds an 8,467-hectare exploration licence, with prospecting activities planned.
Financially, Brunswick Exploration reported a first-quarter 2026 net loss of C$951,173 and a fiscal year 2025 net loss of C$1,363,595 after a tax benefit. As of the first quarter of 2026, the company held C$6,533,229 in cash and C$6,453,517 in working capital, with no debt. With 282,392,131 shares outstanding, the book value stands at C$0.10 per share. The first-quarter 2026 MD&A notes that working capital is not sufficient to meet obligations through March 31, 2027, indicating that further financing is required. The company completed a C$5.45 million private placement in March 2026 and has a history of flow-through and unit financings.
