Brunswick Exploration Reports 1.31% Li2O Over 202 Metres Including 85 Meters at 1.73% Li2O at the Anatacau Main Project

Brunswick’s Anatacau discovery confirmed with 202 m visual including 1.31% Li2O and 1.73% core.

Executive Summary

Brunswick Exploration Inc. (BRW) has released assay results for drill hole AN-26-15 at its Anatacau Main Project in the Anais sector of Quebec, confirming the 202-metre visual intercept initially flagged on September 17, 2026. The main intercept spans 202.45 metres from 274.25 metres to 476.70 metres, grading 1.31% Li2O. Within this interval, a high-grade core of 85.75 metres from 298.40 metres to 384.15 metres grades 1.73% Li2O. This high-grade figure is reported as "including," meaning it represents the same rock sampled at a second resolution rather than being additive to the main intercept.

Two separate intervals were also identified outside the Anais Main dyke: 21.5 metres from 211.4 metres to 232.9 metres at 1.41% Li2O, and 9.2 metres from 170.8 metres to 180.0 metres at 1.28% Li2O. The company states that the intercept confirms the Anais Main dyke to a vertical depth of 300 metres, noting that the dyke remains open in all directions. The release indicates that true thickness is approximately 75% of the drilled interval, which can contain up to 25% country rock. The pegmatite contains 10-30% spodumene crystals that are coarse-grained, pale, and unaltered, with a noted possible dip change from sub-vertical near the surface to approximately 45 degrees at depth.

Four holes totaling approximately 1,700 metres were drilled in the Anais sector during this round. Assays have been reported for only one hole, AN-26-15, while three holes remain pending.

  • Main intercept: 202.45 m from 274.25 m to 476.70 m grading 1.31% Li2O.
  • High-grade core: 85.75 m from 298.40 m to 384.15 m grading 1.73% Li2O (reported as "including").
  • Interval 1: 21.5 m from 211.4 m to 232.9 m at 1.41% Li2O.
  • Interval 2: 9.2 m from 170.8 m to 180.0 m at 1.28% Li2O.
Material Impact

Brunswick Exploration Inc. (BRW) is an explorer with one established resource at Mirage, totaling 52.2 Mt @ 1.08% Li2O, and a fresh discovery at Anatacau (Anais). The company is not a producer.

The September 17, 2026 release flagged the 202.45 m interval on VISUALS, which showed approximately 25% spodumene. This news moved the stock from $0.14 to $0.19, then to $0.25 by October 1, representing roughly a 2x move off the July low of ~$0.12. The width of the intercept was already partially embedded in the market; the grade was not.

The assays grade the interval at 1.31% Li2O, which is at the top of Anais's historical range, with a 1.73% core. The realized grade of 1.31% over 202 m is consistent with, not below, a realistic reading of the ~25% visual estimate. This confirms the discovery and provides a downdip extension to 300 m, rather than representing a fresh discovery.

The visual discovery had already driven the stock to roughly double off the July lows, meaning the market had paid for the discovery's existence. Today's release supplies the grade, which is at the strong end of the plausible range.

The release serves as a confirmation-plus-extension of an already-re-rated discovery, featuring credible QA/QC and a world-class-width, good-grade intercept.

Because the visual had already driven a ~2x move, a "sell the news" reaction is possible. The stock had already eased from $0.25 to $0.23 into the print.

Company Overview

Brunswick Exploration Inc. (TSX-V: BRW; OTCQB: BRWXF; Frankfurt: 1XQ), a Montreal-based junior lithium explorer with projects in Quebec, Greenland, and Saudi Arabia, reported a maiden Inferred Mineral Resource Estimate for its flagship Mirage property in Quebec. The estimate totals 52.2 million tonnes at 1.08% Li2O and 131 ppm Ta2O5, based on a 0.50% Li2OEq cutoff, containing approximately 563,000 tonnes of contained Li2O. The company also identified a 40-50 million tonne exploration target grading 0.80-1.10% Li2O, with a DMS-only flowsheet indicated.

In Quebec, the Anais discovery at the Anatacau Main/West property is now defined to a vertical depth of approximately 300 meters and remains open in all directions. Brunswick Exploration holds a 90% interest in the property, with a right of first refusal over the remaining 10% held by Electric Elements Mining. The company also maintains grass-roots spodumene exploration programs in Nuuk, Greenland, and Saudi Arabia, which are currently in the exploration stage with no resources defined.

Financially, Brunswick Exploration reported a first-quarter 2026 net loss of C$0.95 million, with cash and working capital standing at C$6.53 million as of March 31, 2026. For the fiscal year 2025, the company recorded a net loss of C$1.36 million with no revenue. Management has flagged the current working capital position as insufficient to sustain operations through March 31, 2027. Recent financing activities include a C$5.45 million non-brokered private placement in March 2026 at $0.25 per unit, and a C$2.12 million flow-through financing in December 2025 at $0.175 per share.
