VIZSLA COPPER COMPLETES 2026 FIELD SEASON AT THE PALMER PROJECT

Vizsla reports no new assays for its 52-week low, with 20 holes pending at the project.

Executive Summary

Vizsla Copper Corp. (VCU) announced the completion of its 2026 field season at the Palmer Cu-Zn-Ag VMS project in Southeast Alaska. The company utilized two rigs to drill 10,005 meters across 25 holes, covering the Palmer and AG deposits as well as five additional prospects, two of which had not been previously drill tested.

To date, only five holes have reported assays, with results from the remaining 20 holes pending. The company’s release recaps previously reported results rather than introducing new data. These include CMR26-199 at the South Wall Zone 1, which returned 49.2 meters grading 4.7% CuEq (3.05% Cu, 4.85% Zn, 21.88 g/t Ag, 0.33 g/t Au), and CMR26-215 at AG, which returned 21.2 meters grading 307.5 g/t AgEq (116.9 g/t Ag, 4.79% Zn, 0.14% Cu, 0.27 g/t Au). Exact from/to depths for the AG intercept are not restated in this release, though prior disclosure had indicated 180.3 meters.

Field work during the season included photogrammetry, glaciological studies, wetland and raptor surveys, hydrogeological monitoring, and camp and infrastructure improvements. Vizsla Copper plans to update the Palmer Mineral Resource Estimate in Q1 2027.

On the regulatory front, the Alaska Department of Natural Resources published notice of a request by Constantine to extend State Exploration Authorization APMA #5690 from December 31, 2028, to December 31, 2033. The extension applies only to state mining claims, not federal claim areas, and no new activities are requested. Qualified Person Peter Mercer, P.Geo., oversees the technical disclosures, with readers referred to prior Zone 1 and AG releases for full intercepts, metal-equivalent calculations, and assumptions.

Material Impact

Vizsla Copper Corp. (VCU) is an advanced explorer and developer with no current revenue, relying on its existing Palmer resource and several porphyry assets in British Columbia. The Palmer deposit holds an Indicated resource of 4.77 million tonnes at 1.69% copper and 5.17% zinc, alongside an Inferred resource of 12.0 million tonnes at 0.57% copper and 3.92% zinc, which also includes silver, gold, and barite. As a non-producer, the company’s valuation is sensitive to drill results that expand the resource base, whereas operational recaps generally carry less weight.

The latest release does not disclose new assay results, a change to the mineral resource estimate, a mine plan, a preliminary economic assessment, a pre-feasibility study, or a net asset value update. The next mineral resource estimate update is scheduled for Q1 2027. Additionally, the APMA #5690 extension is an administrative request that does not authorize new activities.

Market expectations appear subdued, with the stock closing at C$0.77 on Nov 2, 2026, at the low end of its 52-week range. This represents a decline from C$1.59 on Sept 3 and C$2.55 on Jan 29. Investors are currently waiting for the release of 20 pending assays and the upcoming resource update rather than reacting to this specific announcement.

Financial context from prior periods indicates that cash and term deposits stood at C$22.47 million as of Jul 31, 2026. The company reported a net loss of C$2.95 million for Q1 FY2027. Shares outstanding were 90.1 million prior to the Oct 29 Agnico share issuance, rising to a pro forma 112.7 million. While liquidity remains adequate, exploration expenditures and share dilution continue to be relevant factors. This release does not alter the resource or development thesis, with the pending assays and the Q1 2027 mineral resource estimate remaining the primary catalysts.

At Copperview in south-central BC, a maiden drill programme commenced in late 2026 targeting the M5 porphyry-related Cu-Au zone. Additionally, the Miller project comprises a 25,274 ha staked Cu-Au porphyry land package contiguous with Centerra’s Mt. Milligan mine.

In Alaska, Vizsla acquired the Delta VMS and Helm Bay gold projects from Agnico Eagle in the Oct 29, 2026 transaction.
