Cerro de Pasco Resources Advances Comprehensive Phase 2 Drilling Across the Quiulacocha Tailings Facility
Cerro De Pasco advances phase 2 drilling at Quiulacocha to target a maiden resource by q3 2027.

Cerro De Pasco Resources Inc. (CDPR) has reported progress on the Phase 2 drilling campaign at the Quiulacocha tailings storage facility in Peru. As of November 1, 2026, the company has completed 34 holes for a total of 1,039 meters drilled, collecting 773 samples. Two sonic rigs are currently active across the dry and ponded zones of the site.
The program is authorized by the Peruvian National Water Authority (ANA) and funded in part by a US$5 million agreement with the U.S. International Development Finance Corporation (DFC). Drilling is targeted for completion in Q2 2027, with the first NI 43-101 Mineral Resource Estimate (MRE) targeted for Q3 2027. No assay results are reported in this release; assays are expected in 4-6 weeks following QA/QC validation.
Cerro De Pasco Resources Inc. (CDPR) has released a standard operational update regarding its previously announced Phase 2 drilling program. The company reports that progress remains on track relative to the timeline communicated in prior releases, with mobilization beginning in August 2026 and a target completion date set for the second quarter of 2027.
The drilling campaign is being actively supported by the Development Finance Corporation (DFC) funding agreement announced in March 2026, a move that validates the project's development pathway. This release does not introduce new economic parameters, metallurgical breakthroughs, or regulatory changes. Instead, it confirms the execution of the technical work required to build the foundation for the maiden mineral resource estimate (MRE). The update is considered incremental and expected, maintaining the current development trajectory without altering near-term valuation drivers.
Cerro De Pasco Resources Inc. (CDPR) is a pre-revenue junior mining company advancing the Quiulacocha Tailings Reprocessing Project in the Pasco Region of Peru. The flagship project targets the reprocessing of historic polymetallic tailings accumulated between 1921 and 1992, which contain silver, zinc, lead, copper, gold, gallium, and indium.
The company holds a 100% interest in the El Metalurgista concession and has consolidated surface rights over the entire tailings footprint. The processing concept involves hydraulic pumping of tailings via submersible slurry pumps, followed by a two-concentrate flotation flowsheet targeting a pyrite concentrate and a base metal concentrate. The project is in the early-stage conceptual exploration and technical evaluation phase. No NI 43-101 Mineral Resource or Reserve has been established.
