Stellar AfricaGold Completes Phase 1 Trenching Program at New Dyke Target, Tichka Est Gold Project, Morocco; Samples Submitted for Assay
Stellar AfricaGold completes new dyke trenching at Tichka Est ahead of a 5,000m drill campaign awaiting final permits.

Stellar AfricaGold Inc. (SPX) has completed Phase 1 trenching at Zone D, a newly identified dyke target at its Tichka Est Gold Project in Morocco. Between September 14 and September 27, 2026, seven mechanical trenches totaling 84 meters were excavated across four distinct dykes.
Sixty-four channel samples and nine quality-control samples have been submitted to Afrilab for assay. Results are pending and will guide the final drill plan.
The company’s Phase II diamond drilling program, comprising 24 holes for approximately 5,000 meters, is advancing. Five holes are provisionally allocated to Zone D. Rig mobilization and crew departure are awaiting final administrative authorization, with drilling expected to commence in late October 2026.
Additionally, a high-resolution drone magnetic survey over Zones A, B, and C, covering approximately 144 line-kilometers, has been approved and is scheduled to mobilize on October 20, 2026. CEO J. François Lalonde emphasized the company's operating tempo, stating that Tichka Est is entering its most active exploration period.
Stellar AfricaGold Inc. (SPX) released an update representing a routine execution step in its previously announced exploration program. The Phase II drilling contract and trenching plans were disclosed in September 2026. The company explicitly noted that visual observations, including quartz veining and arsenopyrite, cannot be quantified prior to assay, and no new assay results or grade estimates were provided.
The update confirms administrative readiness for late October drilling but does not materially alter capital allocation or the timeline. A magnetic survey was conducted as a standard geophysical follow-up to refine targeting.
Stellar AfricaGold Inc. is an early-stage gold exploration company operating two primary assets in North and West Africa. Its Tichka Est Gold Project in Morocco holds an 82 km² permit and is in an advanced exploration stage. Phase I drilling, totaling 1,579m, confirmed structurally controlled orogenic gold hosted in fractured diorite sills, with the best intercept measuring 12m @ 6.62 g/t Au. Phase II drilling, targeting 5,000m, aims to test depth and strike extensions as well as new dyke zones.
The company’s Zuénoula Gold Project in Côte d'Ivoire covers a 395.78 km² permit under an early-stage joint venture. Soil sampling has identified multiple gold-anomalous trends, and auger drilling totaling 10,000m is currently underway to test saprolite and bedrock potential. Management is led by President and CEO J. François Lalonde, with Qualified Persons Yassine Belkabir overseeing the Tichka project and Robert Perring overseeing Zuénoula.
