Eastport Soil Geochemistry Results at Selebi-East Project Identify Two Further Multi Kilometre Nickel-Copper Anomalies Tracking Prospective Amphibolite Host Rocks
Eastport Critical expands its nickel-copper anomaly footprint in Botswana ahead of upcoming drill targeting.

Eastport Critical Metals Corp. (EVI) has completed its Phase II Geochemistry and Geophysical Exploration Program at the Selebi-East Project in Botswana. The initiative identified two additional multi-kilometre nickel-copper soil geochemical anomalies, bringing the total count of such signatures to more than four.
Results demonstrate a strong spatial correlation between elevated nickel-copper values in soil and mapped amphibolite host rocks. This pattern mirrors the exact geological discovery method used by Bamangwato Concessions Limited (BCL) to find the neighboring historic Selebi Mine in 1963.
This release serves as the final update on the Phase II program, following the initial anomaly announcements made on August 12, 2026. The company plans to immediately commence deep-penetrating geophysics and final drill target definition based on these vectors.
Eastport Critical Metals Corp. (EVI) released a routine follow-up to its previously announced exploration activities, confirming that the market was already aware of the Phase II program and the initial August discoveries. The company reported the confirmation of more than four multi-kilometre anomalies, a finding that validates the district-scale potential of the Selebi-East project and provides a clear geological correlation to the historic Selebi Mine.
This development serves to de-risk the project for future drilling and aligns with management’s stated timeline to generate drill-ready targets, keeping the exploration schedule on track. However, because the announcement does not represent a new or unexpected catalyst and lacks immediate drill results or a defined resource, the impact on the stock price is expected to be incremental.
Eastport Critical Metals Corp. (EVI) is a pre-revenue junior explorer focused on critical metals in Botswana, a stable and prospective jurisdiction. Its flagship Matsitama Copper Project features the Nakalakwana (NAK) deposit, which has shown continuous copper mineralization over a ~10 km strike length. Historical SAMREC resources for the deposit stand at 9.9 Mt @ 4,640 ppm Cu, and the company is actively working to convert this to a NI 43-101 compliant resource.
The company’s portfolio also includes the Foley Uranium Project, which is adjacent to Lotus Resources' Letlhakane deposit; the Semarule Rare Earth Elements Project; the Selebi-East Nickel-Copper Project; and the Keng Project. Eastport Critical Metals follows a "Develop and Distribute" strategy, aiming to advance projects to the point of value realization via joint ventures, asset sales, or mining operations.
