First Mining Closes $57.5 Million Bought-Deal Offering Including Full Exercise of Over-Allotment Option
First Mining raises $57.5m to fund springpole environmental assessment follow-up and duparquet drilling.

First Mining Gold Corp. has closed its previously announced bought-deal public offering, issuing 68,459,500 common shares at $0.84 per share. The transaction included the full exercise of the 15% over-allotment option, bringing aggregate gross proceeds to $57,505,980.
Net proceeds are designated to advance the Springpole and Duparquet gold projects, alongside general working capital and corporate purposes. The offering was co-led by Haywood Securities Inc., ATB Cormark Capital Markets, and National Bank Financial Inc. This transaction successfully closes the $50 million financing announced on September 17, 2026, fulfilling management's stated capital raising objectives.
First Mining Gold Corp. (FF) closed a financing that serves as a direct follow-up to its September 17 announcement. The market was fully aware of the capital raise, and the successful execution at $0.84 per share demonstrates stable institutional demand despite the dilutive nature of the offering.
The capital injection significantly strengthens the company's liquidity position. Combined with the $37.3 million in cash reported at June 30, 2026, total liquidity now stands at approximately $94.8 million. This funding directly de-risks the near-term execution of the Springpole provincial Environmental Assessment and the 15,000-meter 2026 exploration program at Duparquet.
First Mining Gold Corp. is a Canadian-based exploration and development company focused on gold and silver projects in Tier-1 jurisdictions. Its flagship asset is the Springpole Gold Project in Ontario, a 100% owned, low-sulphidation epithermal gold-silver deposit that received Federal Environmental Assessment approval in June 2026. A 2025 Pre-Feasibility Study outlined a 9.4-year mine life, $1.1 billion initial capital, and an after-tax NPV of $2.1 billion at $3,100/oz Au.
The company also holds the Duparquet Gold Project in Quebec, a PEA-stage project with 3.44 million ounces in Measured & Indicated resources. Active 2026 exploration drilling is targeting the Miroir and other high-grade zones. Additionally, First Mining Gold Corp. holds a 20% interest in the Pickle Crow Gold Project, a joint venture with Bellavista Resources, and a 48% equity stake in Seva Mining Corp. (formerly Oronova), which holds the Cameron Gold Project.
