WESCAN GOLDFIELDS COMMENCES UAV MAGNETIC AND LIDAR SURVEYS AT MUNRO LAKE PROJECT
Wescan Goldfields uses UAV surveys to refine drill targets at its Munro Lake project ahead of a planned 2026 exploration campaign.

Wescan Goldfields Inc. (WGF) has initiated high-resolution UAV magnetic and LiDAR surveys at its Munro Lake Project in northern Saskatchewan. Conducted by TUZO GeoSurveys Corp. under the direction of Chase Wood, P.Geo., the work leverages local expertise from the adjacent Seabee/Santoy gold complex. The survey covers approximately 11.6 square kilometers along a 7-kilometer mineralized trend to map structural faults and contacts favorable for gold mineralization.
The collected data will be integrated with historical drilling and surface samples to prioritize drill-ready targets for the company's 2026 drill campaign. Historical drill highlights referenced include 67.1 g/t gold over 1.00 meter and 7.1 g/t gold over 1.02 meters from the 2013 campaign. The Qualified Person is John Shmyr, P.Geo., of Dahrouge Geological Consulting Ltd.
Wescan Goldfields Inc. (WGF) has announced a routine, expected step in its 2026 exploration program at the Munro Lake property. The update aligns with previous announcements regarding camp mobilization and the planned 2,000-meter drill program. No new financial data, major discoveries, or strategic shifts were disclosed in the release.
Wescan Goldfields Inc. is a pre-revenue junior exploration company focused on a portfolio of gold properties in Saskatchewan's La Ronge Greenstone Belt. The company relies entirely on equity financing to fund operations, claim maintenance, and exploration, with no revenue generation to date.
Flagship projects include Munro Lake, located 7 km NE of SSR Mining's Seabee mine; Jojay, which hosted a 2010 Indicated Resource of 420,000 tonnes at 3.7 g/t Au; and Fork Lake, home to the past-producing Jasper mine.
