Lorne Park closes acquisition of 1001273791 Ontario

ACQUIRES WEALTH MANAGEMENT PRACTICE Lorne Park Capital Partners Inc. has, through its wholly owned subsidiary, Bellwether Investment Management Inc., closed an acquisition of 100 per cent of the outstanding securities of 1001273791 Ontario Ltd. (the acquiree), an Ontario corporation that holds approximately $40-million in assets under management, all of which are currently being managed by Bellwether. The acquiree was owned by Gordon Archer, a financial adviser at Bellwether. Mr. Archer will become a Bellwether employee and will continue to deliver the high level of service and dedication the company's clients expect. Bellwether acquired all of the outstanding securities of the acquiree in exchange for consideration of $1.3-million, to be paid by Bellwether as follows: $520,000 on closing and $195,000 in each of January, 2026, 2027, 2028 and 2029, subject to adjustment based on the trailing 12-month revenue on the payment dates.
