Koryx Copper Announces Further Drill Results at the Haib Copper Project in Southern Namibia

Executive Summary

Koryx Copper S.A. has reported assay results for 15 PFS infill and expansion holes totaling 6,825m at its Haib project in Namibia. The company noted that true widths are explicitly stated as unknown, with the reported widths representing downhole interval widths.

The best reported intervals include: - HM178: 669m @ 0.33% CuEq, including 318m @ 0.49% CuEq - HM180: 732m @ 0.30% CuEq - HMRC009: 642m @ 0.30% CuEq - HMRC008: 558m @ 0.29% CuEq

High-grade sub-intervals identified in the drilling include: - HMRC008: 12m @ 2.39% Cu from surface, including 2m @ 8.01% Cu - HM179: 32m @ 0.96% Cu, including 10m @ 1.65% Cu - HM178: 10m @ 0.92% Cu and 8m @ 1.06% Cu

Several of the reported holes are extensions of previously released data. HMRC001, HMRC003, HMRC004, HMRC007, HMRC008, and HMRC009 were previously reported to shorter depths. Koryx stated that PFS infill drilling has concluded, with geological modelling for the updated mineral resource estimate (MRE) and preliminary feasibility study (PFS) now underway. The company expects the MRE and PFS results to be released before the end of 2026.

Material Impact

Koryx Copper S.A. (KRY) is an advanced pre-PFS copper developer, distinct from early grassroots explorers. The company holds a March 2026 Mineral Resource Estimate (MRE) of significant scale, comprising an Indicated resource of 744Mt @ 0.28% Cu and 0.32% CuEq, alongside an Inferred resource of 579Mt @ 0.24% Cu and 0.28% CuEq.

The reported infill drilling generally intersects grades at or above the existing resource grade, serving as a confirmation of the deposit. While the southern high-grade lobe identified in hole HM179 is encouraging, it represents a single hole and is not yet sufficient to alter the resource story. The market has already re-rated the stock from C$1.14 to C$3.62 over the past year, and the August 26, 2026 release included comparable or better long/high-grade intervals.

These results do not materially change the perceived scale, grade, or odds of the project; they maintain the existing investment thesis. The equity is valued at roughly C$440M on the back of the existing resource and the upcoming Pre-Feasibility Study (PFS).

As of May 31, 2026, Koryx reported cash of C$57.2M and working capital of C$44.4M, with a nine-month net loss of C$40.6M. The company has funded the drill program but remains dependent on further capital. This is not an earnings release, and no new financial results are presented today.
