PMET Conducts Large Scale Caesium Sampling Program at CV13
PMET advances its caesium processing program with large-scale sampling of the Vega Zone at its project.

PMET Resources Inc. (PMET) announced the "BerryPick" program, which has collected over 2.5 tonnes of pollucite pegmatite from the Vega Zone (CV13). The company aims to produce 500–1,000 kg of pollucite concentrate to support ore sorting and downstream caesium chemical testwork. Ore sorting testwork is anticipated to begin in Q4 2026, with results expected in the first half of 2027.
The release reiterates the project's status as hosting the world's largest in-situ pollucite-hosted caesium pegmatite Mineral Resource, comprising 0.69 Mt at 4.40% Cs2O Indicated and 1.70 Mt at 2.40% Cs2O Inferred. This follows the April 2026 strategic partnership with Koch Technology Solutions and the July 2026 announcement of >97% caesium extraction results.
PMET Resources Inc. (PMET) announced an incremental step in its caesium value-add strategy, a move expected to help de-risk the project. The update introduces no new financial metrics, capital requirements, or changes to the development timeline. The market has already priced in the caesium potential and the Koch partnership, making this a routine operational update. The company’s focus remains on producing concentrate for testwork, which aligns with previously communicated milestones.
PMET Resources Inc. is developing the Shaakichiuwaan Project in the James Bay region of Quebec, Canada. The project focuses on lithium, specifically spodumene concentrate, while also producing co-products including caesium (pollucite), tantalum, and gallium. Currently in the development stage, the company completed a positive lithium-only Feasibility Study in October 2025 and submitted its Environmental and Social Impact Assessment (ESIA) in March 2026.
The project holds a Probable Mineral Reserve of 84.3 million tonnes at 1.26% Li2O. Additionally, it contains a Mineral Resource of 108.0 million tonnes Indicated at 1.40% Li2O, alongside the world's largest pollucite-hosted caesium resource. PMET Resources Inc. targets a Final Investment Decision (FID) by the second half of 2027, with commercial production slated for 2030.
