Global Energy Metals Highlights Identification Of Prominent Radiometric Anomalies At Charlot-Neely Lake Uranium Project

Global identified preliminary radiometric anomalies at its Saskatchewan uranium portfolio, sparking new drill targets across the project.

Executive Summary

Global Energy Metals Corporation (GEMC) has highlighted preliminary airborne geophysical results from the Charlot-Neely Lake uranium project, which is part of Terra North Resources Corp.'s portfolio over which GEMC holds a 0.5% NSR royalty. Seven prominent uranium-thorium radiometric anomalies were identified from preliminary north-south tie-line data collected during an ongoing 2,441 line-kilometre survey covering approximately 163.7 km². The strongest preliminary response is located north of Neely Lake, an area with historical uranium-bearing outcrops grading up to 0.8% U₃O₈.

Preliminary magnetic data distinguishes two major geological domains separated by the northeast-southwest trending Black Bay Fault. The project has a dozen historical radiometric anomalies, including rock-chip samples >6% U₃O₈ and outcrop readings >13,000 counts per second. Current results are from widely spaced tie lines; principal east-west flight lines are being flown at tighter spacing to provide greater resolution. Terra North intends to use the complete dataset, including higher-resolution principal flight lines, to define drill targets. Next steps involve processing and interpreting the complete dataset to prioritize areas for ground truthing and drill-target definition.

Material Impact

Global Energy Metals Corporation (GEMC) announced a routine update aligning with the previously reported commencement of its airborne survey on August 19, 2026. This development marks an expected, incremental step in the exploration lifecycle, transitioning from survey commencement to preliminary anomaly identification.

No immediate financial impact or major discovery was reported, with value remaining contingent on future drilling and resource definition by Terra North. The 0.5% NSR royalty structure continues to provide GEMC with non-dilutive exposure to exploration success, consistent with the company's stated strategy. The asset remains in the early exploration stage with no near-term production or revenue potential.

Company Overview

Global Energy Metals Corporation operates as a project generator and royalty platform focused on critical minerals and battery metals across North America and Australia. Its flagship asset is the Millennium Copper-Cobalt-Gold-Graphite project in Queensland, Australia, where GEMC holds a 49% interest. Under an earn-in arrangement, partner Metal Bank Ltd. fully carries exploration spend for an 80% stake. The Millennium project hosts a JORC 2012 Inferred Resource of 8.4 Mt @ 1.23% CuEq and has recently confirmed thick, near-surface graphite mineralization.

The company’s additional portfolio includes the Rana Nickel Project in Norway, the Monument Peak Silver-Copper-Gold Project in Idaho, USA, the Peace River Lithium Project in Canada, and the Athabasca Uranium Projects in Saskatchewan, Canada, via Terra North. GEMC’s strategy emphasizes consolidating, partnering, and investing in critical mineral assets while maintaining non-dilutive exposure through royalties and carried interests.
