Seabridge Gold Announces Successful Energization of KSM Project's Treaty Creek Terminal

Seabridge Gold Inc. (SEA) announced the substantial completion and successful energization of the Treaty Creek Terminal (TCT) on August 27, 2026. Located on Highway 37, approximately 2 kilometers north of the entrance to the KSM Project in northwestern British Columbia, the facility is a critical component of the electrical infrastructure for the mine. The terminal is expected to be ready for service by November 2026, supporting future construction and operations at the KSM Project.

The TCT provides access to reliable, clean, and economic hydroelectric power, which lowers the KSM Project's carbon footprint and reduces operating costs. The KSM Project is one of the world's largest undeveloped copper and gold projects held by a publicly traded company. To date, the company has invested over $1.2 billion, with significant spending directed toward local businesses and workers.
