Storm Further Upsizes Private Placement to $3.2M
Storm upsizes financing to $3.2m to fund its Gold Standard drilling program.

Storm Exploration Inc. has increased the size of its previously announced non-brokered private placement from $2.7 million to $3.2 million. The offering now consists of up to 8,000,000 units priced at $0.40 per unit. All terms remain unchanged from the August 26 and September 2 announcements. The upsizing reflects continued investor demand and remains subject to TSX Venture Exchange approval.
Storm Exploration Inc. (STRM) announced the latest financing step as a direct execution of the August 26 financing led by Eric Sprott and the subsequent September 2 upsizing. The transaction does not introduce new strategic developments, change the purpose of the capital raise, or alter the company’s valuation. The $0.40 unit price remains consistent with prior tranches.
The additional $0.5 million extends the working capital runway for the planned 3,000m drilling program at the Gold Standard project. While the move supports treasury management, it is an expected follow-up to previous rounds. The market has already absorbed the Sprott backing and initial upsizing, limiting any incremental price impact.
Storm Exploration Inc. (STRM) is a pre-revenue mineral exploration company focused on three 100% owned projects in Northwestern Ontario: Gold Standard, Keezhik, and Attwood.
The company’s flagship Gold Standard Project covers 7,636 hectares and features a 5-kilometre-long Volcanogenic Massive Sulphide (VMS) conductivity anomaly identified by VTEM surveys. Historical Inco drilling intersected sulphides, and 2022 surface sampling returned high-grade gold, silver, and copper assays. The company is preparing to drill the untested conductor.
The Keezhik Project hosts high-grade gold showings with historical assays up to 18.9 g/t Au. The Attwood Project consists of a large land package with base metal potential and untested EM anomalies.
