Arcus & Core Mobilize for 3,000 Metre Drilling Program at the Touleary VMS Project
Arcus Development mobilizes its Touleary VMS drill program as the merger with Arcus-Core nears closing.

Arcus Development Group Inc. and Core Silver Corp. announced the mobilization of crews and equipment for a 3,000-meter diamond drilling program at the Touleary Project in the Yukon. The program is managed by Archer Cathro Ltd. and executed by Superior Diamond Drilling. Primary targets are historical 2011 drill intercepts (holes TL-11-005, TL-11-002, TL-11-001, TL-11-003) featuring significant polymetallic grades (Cu, Au, Zn, Ag) that have not been followed up.
The release provides an update on the previously announced plan of arrangement: Arcus shareholders approved the 1:1 share exchange with Core Silver on August 25, 2026, with 96.93% of votes cast in favor. Closing is expected shortly upon receipt of stock exchange approvals and satisfaction of customary conditions. Management highlighted the potential impact of the proposed Northern Access Route infrastructure on reducing exploration costs and logistics in the White Gold District.
Arcus Development Group Inc. (ADG) issued a routine positive follow-up to its previously announced plans, confirming the execution of planned steps and reinforcing the timeline for merger closing and exploration activities. The scope of the drilling program and historical targets had already been disclosed in prior updates. Additionally, the M&A shareholder approval was public knowledge as of late August 2026. The release introduces no new market-moving information, unexpected valuation changes, or strategic pivots, aligning with previous expectations.
Arcus Development Group Inc. (TSXV:ADG) and Core Silver Corp. (CSE:CC) are advancing a business combination to create a diversified exploration company. The combined entity will focus on the Touleary VMS (Volcanogenic Massive Sulfide) project, located approximately 115 km south of Dawson City in the Yukon. This flagship project comprises 397 contiguous mineral claims within the White Gold District. Historical drilling in 2011 confirmed polymetallic mineralization at the site, and the new program aims to follow up on these intercepts while testing newly identified high-priority targets.
Core Silver also holds the Blue Property, known as the Silver Lime CRD-Porphyry Project, in the Atlin area of British Columbia, covering 114,074 hectares. The strategic rationale behind the combination is to create a district-scale exploration company with exposure to the Tintina Gold Belt and the Atlin Mining District, leveraging proposed Northern Access Route infrastructure.
