New Age Metals Reports Results of 2026 3D Induced Polarization Survey at the Mustang Zone, River Valley PGM Project, Ontario
New Age’s 3D IP survey at River Valley confirms Mustang Zone targets, setting the stage for 2026 drilling.

New Age Metals Inc. (NAM) has announced the results of a 2026 DasVision 3D Induced Polarization (IP) survey conducted over the Mustang Zone of its River Valley Palladium Project in Ontario. The survey successfully confirmed known PGM-Cu-Ni mineralization geophysically and identified two new chargeability trends, designated as Trend 2 and Trend 3, located beyond the currently defined zone.
Six geophysical anomalies, labeled RVM-01 through RVM-06, were delineated during the program. These targets are interpreted as shallow-to-moderate depth features potentially associated with disseminated to semi-massive sulphide mineralization. Based on these findings, Abitibi Geophysics has designed five priority drill targets for ground-truthing and diamond drilling.
This initiative marks the first systematic geophysical program over the 4.5-kilometre-long Mustang Zone since 2002. The company plans to advance ground-truthing efforts, geological mapping, and a drone-based magnetic, radiometric, and LiDAR survey. Additionally, historical drilling data at RVM-01a and RVM-03 will be reviewed to confirm testing adequacy.
New Age Metals Inc. (NAM) released results that serve as a direct follow-up to its February 2026 announcement launching the 2026 PGM exploration program at River Valley. The findings represent an expected, incremental step in the company's exploration calendar, validating the geological model and confirming the presence of geophysical signatures consistent with mineralization. These results successfully generated drill targets, primarily serving to de-risk the upcoming summer and fall drill program by providing a clear, geophysically defined target list.
The news carries no immediate financial or valuation impact. It does not alter the company's pre-revenue status, nor does it trigger a resource update or economic study revision. The market likely priced in this progression, resulting in a muted reaction.
New Age Metals Inc. operates as a project generator and explorer focused on platinum group metals (PGM), gold, antimony, and lithium across North America. Its flagship asset is the River Valley Palladium Project in Ontario, located approximately 100 km from Sudbury. This multi-million-ounce, Pre-Feasibility stage asset is 100% owned, subject to a 3% net smelter return (NSR). A 2023 Preliminary Economic Assessment (PEA) outlines a 16-year mine life with average annual production of approximately 47,400 oz of palladium.
The company’s portfolio includes several additional divisions. The PGM Division encompasses the Genesis project in Alaska, the Northern Shield project in the Ring of Fire covering approximately 34,000 hectares, and the Platreef, Escape East, and Gravel Ridge projects in Thunder Bay, northwestern Ontario. The Gold-Antimony Division holds a Newfoundland portfolio of approximately 20,950 hectares, which has yielded high-grade grab samples up to 51.9% antimony and 46.2 g/t gold. In Kenora, Ontario, the Gold & Critical Metals division manages the Bonanza Ridge and Double R projects, comprising a consolidated area of approximately 18,780 hectares. The Lithium Division covers the Winnipeg River Pegmatite Field in Manitoba, which is 100% owned following the termination of a joint venture with MinRes.
Additionally, New Age Metals holds an approximately 14.39% equity stake in MetalQuest Mining (TSXV: MQM), which is advancing the Lac Otelnuk Iron Project.
