Golden Ridge Commences 2026 Field Exploration Program At Williams
Golden Ridge begins exploration at the Williams project, with no near-term catalysts to justify a premium valuation for the deposit.

Golden Ridge Resources Ltd. has secured drilling permits from the government of Newfoundland and Labrador for up to 40 diamond drill holes at its Williams Gold Property. The company is immediately launching a Phase I field program that includes a property-wide high-resolution drone Lidar survey, high-density (25x25m) B-horizon soil geochemistry infill, and mapping and prospecting.
The Lidar survey is designed to identify subtle topographic features in partially covered terrain to guide future exploration, while the soil geochemistry program targets the Gray Jay and Blue Jay Zones. A follow-on drill program may be pursued upon completion and receipt of results from the Phase I program to test new, existing, and previously untested targets. The program acknowledges financial support from the Junior Exploration Assistance Program, Department of Industry, Energy, and Technology, Government of Newfoundland and Labrador. Qualified Person Paul Delaney, P.Geo, reviewed and approved the technical data.
Golden Ridge Resources Ltd. (GLDN) has initiated a standard progression in its exploration lifecycle, moving from permit acquisition to initial ground-based surveys and geochemical infill. The announcement aligns with the company’s historical context, following a 2.4km gold-in-soil anomaly discovered in 2020 and successful drilling campaigns in 2022 and 2023. This Phase I program serves as a logical follow-up to refine targets before committing capital to further drilling.
The termination of the MM Group deal refocused the company entirely on its Canadian assets. The market has already priced in the need for continued exploration given the lack of operating revenues and the company's focus on the Williams property. This exploration update is a necessary step to maintain investor interest and justify the current market capitalization.
Golden Ridge Resources Ltd. is a junior exploration company focused on the Williams Gold Property, a 1,550-hectare asset in Newfoundland and Labrador. The property is strategically located within the Appleton and Dog Bay Fault Corridors and is surrounded by New Found Gold Corp's Queensway Gold Property. Historical exploration includes a 2.4km gold-in-soil anomaly discovered in 2020 and successful drilling in 2022 and 2023.
The company also holds the 1,700-hectare Hank copper-gold-silver-lead-zinc property in British Columbia, though current efforts are refocused on Williams following the termination of the MM Group deal. The company has no operating revenues and relies entirely on equity financing and asset sales to fund operations.
