Kobo Resources Extends Gold Mineralisation at Depth and Further Defines the Contact Zone Fault Target

The news release dated February 9, 2026, reports diamond drill results from six holes at the Jagger and Road Cut Zones (RCZ) within the Kossou Gold Project in Côte d'Ivoire. Key intercepts include hole KDD0138 at the Jagger Zone, which returned 2 meters (m) at 26.08 g/t Au at depth, and hole KDD0141, which intersected 22 m at 0.87 g/t Au. At the Road Cut Zone, hole KDD0142 reported multiple intervals, including 11 m at 1.54 g/t Au and 6 m at 1.89 g/t Au. These results are part of a systematic program to define mineralisation continuity ahead of a maiden Mineral Resource Estimate (MRE) planned for 2026.

The impact is material and positive as it confirms the vertical continuity of the gold system, specifically extending RCZ mineralisation more than 150 m down-dip along the Contact Zone Fault. The high-grade hit in KDD0138 (26.08 g/t Au) suggests that the Jagger Zone maintains its tenor at depth, which is critical for resource volume calculations. However, the broader intercepts (e.g., 22 m at 0.87 g/t) indicate that while the system is large and continuous, significant portions remain lower-grade, which may impact the eventual economic cut-off grades of the maiden resource. The company has now reported over 34,800 m of drilling, moving the project from discovery toward a defined asset.
