Patagonia Gold Announces Lifting of Temporary Suspension at Calcatreu and Third Dore Dispatch

PGDC · Price

Patagonia Gold Corp. (PGDC) has announced the lifting of a preventive, partial, and temporary suspension of activities at its Calcatreu Project in Argentina. The resolution follows an agreement with the Secretariat of Labour regarding the hiring and training of local workers. With the suspension lifted, the Company has resumed certain activities and is working to progressively normalize operations at the site.

In conjunction with the operational update, Patagonia Gold reported its third dispatch of gold and silver doré from Calcatreu. The shipment contains approximately 996 gold equivalent ounces (AuEq), a volume that is nearly double the 518 AuEq ounces contained in the first dispatch announced in June 2026. The specific content of the third dispatch includes approximately 980 contained gold ounces and 1,099 contained silver ounces. The silver-to-gold ratio used for this calculation was 67.8:1, derived from LBMA prices as of August 24, 2026.

These results demonstrate continued progress in leaching, recovery, and downstream processing activities since the commencement of leaching operations on April 15, 2026. The Company is currently evaluating the impact of the previous suspension on production levels and future objectives for the Project.

Christopher van Tienhoven, Chief Executive Officer, stated: “We are pleased that the temporary suspension at Calcatreu has been lifted and appreciate the constructive dialogue with the Provincial authorities that led to this resolution. Our immediate focus is on progressively normalizing operations at the Project. The third doré dispatch represents another important operational milestone for Calcatreu and reflects the progress made since leaching operations began in April.”
