Tintina Mines Completes Strategic Partnership Transaction, Consolidating 100% Ownership of the Dos Amigos (formerly Domeyko Sulfuros) Copper-Gold Project in Chile
Tintina secured 100% ownership of its Chile project after releasing escrow funds and deploying $91 million to the asset.

Tintina Mines Ltd. (TTS) has completed the acquisition of the remaining 26.25% minority interest in Andean Belt Resources SpA (ABR), securing 100% indirect ownership of the Dos Amigos (formerly Domeyko Sulfuros) Copper-Gold Project in Chile. The transaction follows shareholder approval on August 21, 2026, and the initial closing of the C$91 million financing on July 9, 2026.
C$91 million was released from escrow following the completion of a private placement of subscription receipts. Approximately C$36 million funded the minority interest acquisition, while C$55 million is dedicated to advancing the project toward a Final Investment Decision (FID). Securities issued include 133,874,114 common shares and 91,265,291 warrants. Post-exchange capitalization stands at 283,518,365 common shares.
Management and board changes took effect, with Claude Dufresne appointed CEO and Chris Stackhouse appointed CFO. Juan Enrique Rassmuss stepped down as CEO but remains Chairman. The board was reconstituted with nominees from the anchor investor and existing directors.
A fully funded ~50,000-meter drilling, feasibility, and permitting program has been launched. Drilling is expected to commence in late September 2026, with an updated resource estimate targeted for H2-2027 and an FID targeted for 2030.
Tintina Mines Ltd. (TTS) completed its previously disclosed transaction on August 25, following the June 2 announcement and the August 21 shareholder vote. The completion confirms the company’s consolidation of 100% ownership and the unlocking of capital, which de-risks the ownership structure and provides immediate liquidity for the next phase of development.
The market had already priced in the financing and strategic partnership during the June-July run-up. The introduction of a new CEO and CFO signals a transition to a more development-focused management team, aligning with the shift from exploration to feasibility and permitting. The news is in line with previous expectations, with no surprises regarding terms, pricing, or strategic partners.
Tintina Mines Ltd. (TTS) is a Canadian junior mineral exploration company focused on the Dos Amigos (formerly Domeyko Sulfuros) Copper-Gold Project in the Atacama Region of northern Chile. The project’s ESG and infrastructure profile includes a 100% renewable energy strategy with battery storage and raw seawater processing via a 63km pipeline, resulting in zero continental water use. The site maintains proximity to highway access, grid power, and coastal export logistics.
