Tintina Mines Announces Commencement of Drilling at the Dos Amigos Project in Chile

Tintina ramps up drilling at Dos Amigos to target resource conversion ahead of its scheduled 2027 resource update.

Executive Summary

Tintina Mines Ltd. (TTS) has officially commenced a 40,000-meter diamond drilling program at its Dos Amigos project in Chile. The initiative aims to convert Inferred Mineral Resources to the Indicated category to support future feasibility studies and a targeted Final Investment Decision (FID) in 2030.

Drilling activity will ramp up over the next month, with up to six rigs operating 24/7 through the second quarter of 2027. Initial assay results are expected in mid-November 2026, while an updated Mineral Resource Estimate is targeted for the second half of 2027. The primary focus of the program is the Dos Amigos target, located between 300m and 800m in depth. Shallower drilling will be conducted at Marisol, with high-priority porphyry testing scheduled at the Tricolor target in the fourth quarter of 2026.

In secondary corporate updates, Tintina Mines has appointed Richard Leclerc as General Manager for its Chilean subsidiary. The company has also engaged an investor relations firm for a fee of CAD$9,000 per month.

Material Impact

Tintina Mines Ltd. (TTS) has commenced drilling, marking the direct execution of the work program announced alongside its C$91 million private placement in August 2026. The company had explicitly stated that drilling was expected to commence by the end of September 2026.

This update confirms that the company is on schedule to upgrade its resource base, a critical step for advancing the project toward a feasibility study and final investment decision.
