Excalibur Metals Plans Property-Wide Exploration Program at Bellehelen Silver-Gold Project and Announces Director Nominees
Excalibur maps new targets and refreshes its board ahead of the annual general meeting for its Nevada silver-gold exploration projects.

Excalibur Metals Corp. (EXCL) announced a property-wide exploration program at its Bellehelen Silver-Gold Project in Nevada, scheduled to mobilize in early September 2026. The initiative focuses on geological mapping and rock-chip sampling at Zigs, Broken Cabin, and Rangefront to refine drill targets for future campaigns.
The release references prior material drilling results from June 2026, including a high-grade interval of 360 g/t Ag and 2.03 g/t Au over 1.52m in hole BH26001.
The company also announced the nomination of Gernot Wober, VP Exploration at First Nordic Metals and former VP Exploration at Discovery Silver/Osisko Mining, and CEO John Gilbert to the Board of Directors at the upcoming AGM on September 15, 2026. Current directors Brian Shin and Charanjit Hayre will not stand for re-election but will remain as advisors.
Excalibur Metals Corp. (EXCL) released an exploration update that serves as a logical follow-up to its maiden drill program completed in June 2026, as well as subsequent soil and geophysical work conducted at the Rangefront and Broken Cabin sites. The announcement confirms that the company is executing on its 2026 exploration plan.
In a move to bolster project evaluation and future drilling design, Excalibur Metals has added Gernot Wober to its board, bringing significant exploration experience to the team.
The update does not include new assay results, financing, or material changes to the project's scale. It represents an expected operational step and a routine corporate governance update.
