Excalibur Provides Exploration Update on Rangefront Target
Excalibur defines a new structural fault corridor at the Rangefront project in Nevada.

Excalibur Metals Corp. (EXCL) released an exploration update on the Rangefront Target at its Bellehelen Silver-Gold Project in Nevada. In March 2026, the company collected 264 soil samples that identified a coherent multi-element anomaly consisting of Antimony, Arsenic, Mercury, and Gold. This anomaly increases toward the west-southwest beneath post-mineral alluvial cover.
A CSAMT geophysical survey completed in April 2026 revealed a marked discontinuity in resistivity across a west-dipping plane, which is interpreted as a fault zone controlling hydrothermal fluid flow. Geological interpretation suggests Rangefront represents the upper "cap" of a preserved epithermal system, with the principal structural control concealed beneath shallow cover to the west.
Rangefront is designated as a priority target for the next drill campaign, scheduled for late 2026 or early 2027. Follow-up drilling at the Spyglass Ridge target is also anticipated, alongside continued geological mapping and surface sampling.
Excalibur Metals Corp. (EXCL) released an exploration update on July 9, 2026, serving as a direct follow-up to the company’s May 1, 2026 claim staking expansion and the April 2026 geophysical survey at Rangefront. The update validates the company's exploration thesis by confirming geochemical vectors and structural controls that align with the epithermal model established at Spyglass Ridge.
This development continues a methodical historical progression for the project, moving from soil and rock sampling in November 2025 to maiden drilling at Spyglass from April to June 2026, and subsequently to geophysical and geochemical refinement at Rangefront from April to July 2026. The news contains no unexpected discoveries, financial results, or capital raises, simply advancing the planned exploration program.
The stock’s recent decline to $0.12 reflects market impatience for drill results rather than fundamental deterioration.
Excalibur Metals Corp. is a Nevada-based precious metals exploration company focused on the Bellehelen Silver-Gold Project. The flagship Bellehelen site hosts a mineralized trend spanning more than 10 kilometers in Nye County, Nevada, with historic production of approximately 311,000 silver-equivalent ounces dating to the early 1900s. Historic surface assays at the property reached up to 11.25 g/t Au and 3,490 g/t Ag.
Recent exploration efforts have targeted several key areas. At Spyglass Ridge, maiden reverse circulation drilling was completed, totaling 3,122 meters across 10 holes. Highlights from this program include:
- 1.52m @ 360.0 g/t Ag and 2.03 g/t Au within a 100.58m zone averaging 16.7 g/t Ag and 0.10 g/t Au.
At Rangefront, a new priority target has been defined by soil geochemistry and CSAMT geophysics, revealing a west-dipping fault corridor and multi-element anomaly. Additionally, Excalibur acquired the North Tybo property in May 2026 via the direct staking of 50 claims, covering approximately 1,000 acres. This property is located near Kinross' Round Mountain mine and AngloGold Ashanti's Midnight Star project. The company operates in a Tier-1 mining environment characterized by established infrastructure and a pro-mining regulatory framework.
