New Found Gold Announces Graduation to the Toronto Stock Exchange
New Found’s TSX graduation confirms its transition to an emerging producer, boosting market visibility for its high-grade gold assets.

New Found Gold Corp. (TSXV: NFG) (NYSE American: NFGC) announced that its common shares will commence trading on the Toronto Stock Exchange (TSX) on August 26, 2026, under the symbol "NFGC". The company is voluntarily delisting from the TSX Venture Exchange upon the commencement of trading on the TSX.
The CUSIP and ISIN numbers remain unchanged, and shareholders are not required to take any action. CEO Keith Boyle described the move as a graduation from an early-stage explorer to an emerging gold producer, aiming to increase visibility and access a broader investor base.
New Found Gold Corp. (NFG) completed its transition to the Toronto Stock Exchange, a routine corporate milestone following the conditional approval announced on June 29, 2026. The move confirms the successful fulfillment of TSX listing requirements and does not introduce new, unexpected, or market-moving information.
The graduation is expected to enhance long-term visibility and liquidity, aligning the company with larger, more established mining peers on the main exchange. However, it represents a procedural step rather than a fundamental change to operations, cash flow, or project economics. The market had already priced in this transition through the $115M equity raise and $105M credit facility in April and May 2026, which fully funded the Queensway Phase I development and Hammerdown ramp-up.
New Found Gold Corp. (NFG) is an emerging Canadian gold producer focused on the Queensway Gold Project in Newfoundland & Labrador. The flagship Queensway project covers over 110 km of strike across two major geological structures, encompassing a district-scale land package of approximately 230,000 hectares.
The company recently completed the acquisition of Maritime Resources Corp., adding the Hammerdown Gold Project and the fully permitted Pine Cove Mill. Hammerdown is targeted for commercial production in the second half of 2026, with a preliminary economic assessment indicating approximately 19,300 ounces per year of average production at an all-in sustaining cost of approximately $2,429 per ounce.
Queensway Phase I targets first material to the mill in the fourth quarter of 2027 and commercial production in the second half of 2028, with an initial capital cost of approximately $155 million and an all-in sustaining cost of approximately $1,282 per ounce.
