Andina Copper Intersects 206m at 0.67% Cu from 32m within 400m at 0.46% Cu

Andina’s Cobrasco depth confirmation aligns with expectations, with no lateral step-out to re-rate the deposit.

Executive Summary

Andina Copper Corporation (ANDC) has released drill results for hole CDH011 at the Cobrasco porphyry Cu-Mo discovery in Chocó, Colombia. CDH011 is the sixth hole drilled from Pad 3, targeting steeply southwest with an azimuth of 225° and a dip of -80°, reaching a final depth of 695.45m. The reported intercepts represent downhole lengths, calculated using a 0.2% copper cutoff and allowing for a maximum internal dilution of 20m.

Key intervals from the hole include:

  • 400m @ 0.46% Cu, 60ppm Mo, 1.1g/t Ag from 32m
  • Including 206m @ 0.67% Cu, 35ppm Mo from 32m
  • Including 40m @ 0.87% Cu, 70ppm Mo from 32m
  • Including 54m @ 0.76% Cu, 59ppm Mo from 184m
  • Including 22m @ 1.17% Cu from 34m
  • Lower zone: 290m @ 0.25% Cu, 93ppm Mo from 302m, with bornite locally from 335m to 407m

The 400m interval is noted as an exception because it includes 26m below the 0.2% Cu cutoff between 276m and 302m, and it partially overlaps the 290m lower interval.

The initial 11 diamond drillholes have defined a mineralized footprint of roughly 1,200m x 550–700m, which remains open in multiple directions. Multiple holes have been completed from a new platform located approximately 350m northwest of Pad 3, with assays currently pending. A second drill rig is expected to arrive shortly.

The qualified person for the release is Gustavo Zulliger, CPG #11165. Sample preparation was conducted by ALS Medellin, with analysis performed in Lima.

Material Impact

Andina Copper Corporation (ANDC) remains a pre-revenue junior explorer where drill results serve as the primary value driver. The company currently lacks a resource estimate, metallurgical testwork, or economic study for its Cobrasco project, and the CDH011 results do not alter that status.

The most recent comparable anchor on the same zone is CDH010, reported on 11 August 2026, which returned 504m @ 0.48% Cu, including 264m @ 0.63% Cu. CDH011 delivered 400m @ 0.46% Cu, including 206m @ 0.67% Cu.

  • Broad grade-thickness: CDH011 184.0 Cu %-m vs CDH010 241.9 Cu %-m, about 76% of the anchor.
  • High-grade grade-thickness: CDH011 138.0 vs CDH010 166.3, about 83% of the anchor.

CDH011 exhibits slightly better grade in the high-grade interval but features a shorter width, resulting in slightly lower broad grade. The result is not considered a material negative because the outcome is not under half the anchor and the high-grade grade was not degraded. It is also not a material positive because it represents a depth confirmation from the same pad rather than a lateral step-out or new discovery.

The stock has re-rated substantially from CAD 0.25 to over CAD 1.00 over the past year, with CDH011 representing in-line news against that embedded expectation. The pending northwest-platform step-out assays are viewed as the more important catalyst for footprint growth.

In Colombia, the company’s Cobrasco project is a porphyry Cu-Mo discovery where 11 drillholes have defined a footprint of roughly 1,200m x 550–700m. In Argentina, the Piuquenes project is a porphyry Cu-Au property comprising Piuquenes North, Central, and East, and is located adjacent to Aldebaran’s Altar project. In Chile, the Mantau project is an undrilled IOCG/Manto-style Cu-Au target that has yielded high-grade rock-chip samples.
