ONGold Affirms TPK Drill Program Readiness & Reports Exploration Grab Assays up to 17.96 g/t Au Resulting from the 2026 Phase 1 Field Program
OnGold’s TPK project assays up to 17.96 g/t Au, with drilling delayed to fall due to wildfires.

OnGold Resources Ltd. (ONAU) has reported results from its 2026 Phase 1 field exploration program at the Ti-pi-ha-kaa-ning (TPK) Project in Northern Ontario. Wildfire-related delays in northwestern Ontario pushed the planned diamond drilling program to fall 2026. Phase 1 activities included geological mapping, soil sampling, and geophysical surveys, comprising 17.8 line-km of ground EM and 15 line-km of gravity.
Significant high-grade gold intercepts were identified through grab sampling and historical data review. These include a new Sidewinder Zone at Gold Ridge with grab assays up to 10.69 g/t Au and boulder samples returning up to 144.68 g/t Au. Historical hole TPK-10-004 at Goose Lake Prospect returned 25.87 g/t Au over 13.50 m, including a 749.0 g/t Au over 0.3 m interval. Additionally, Rowlandson Lake historical trenches sampled returned 2.64 g/t Au to 17.96 g/t Au with elevated copper.
The Company announced an updated collaboration agreement with the Nibinamik First Nation, including the proposed issuance of common shares to the Nation, subject to TSX Venture Exchange and securities law approval. CEO Kyle Stanfield emphasized that the Phase 1 program positioned ONGold for further drilling this fall, focusing on expanding the geological understanding of high-grade gold and base-metal targets.
The company noted that grab assays and boulder samples serve as surface indicators requiring follow-up drilling to confirm continuity and true widths, and do not constitute a resource estimate.
While wildfire-related delays have impacted drilling operations, the company stated these setbacks do not alter the long-term exploration plan or capital requirements. Additionally, the Indigenous collaboration agreement is described as a standard procedural step for exploration in Ontario, aligning with previous announcements. The release aligns with prior expectations for Phase 1 field work preceding Phase 2 drilling, with no new capital raised and no resource update provided.
OnGold Resources Ltd. is a pre-revenue exploration-stage company focused on precious and base metals in Canada. Its flagship projects include the Ti-pi-ha-kaa-ning (TPK) Gold & Copper Project in Northwestern Ontario, covering 69,764 hectares, and the Monument Bay Gold & Tungsten Project in Northeastern Manitoba, which spans 31,250 hectares.
At the TPK project’s Gold Ridge area, 2025 drilling identified high-grade gold mineralization of 19.39 g/t Au over 8.2 m, as well as copper-silver-gold mineralization of 11.10% Cu, 218 g/t Ag, and 4.45 g/t Au over 0.4 m.
Monument Bay hosts a historical 2017 resource of approximately 2.32 million ounces of gold. The company is currently re-logging historical core and sampling missing tungsten assays to prepare a new NI 43-101 resource estimate.
The October Gold Project, located in the Abitibi Sub-province, is optioned to Evolution Mining Limited, which is conducting a 4,050-meter drill program.
