ONGold Announces $5.3 Million Financing
OnGold secures $5.3m to fund near-mine drilling and sustain operations.

OnGold Resources Ltd. (ONAU) announced a best-efforts private placement under the Listed Issuer Financing Exemption, targeting gross proceeds of up to $5,346,000, with an overall option to raise an additional $800,000. The offering consists of Ontario flow-through units at $0.81, Manitoba flow-through units at $0.93, and non-flow-through units at $0.58. Proceeds from flow-through shares will fund eligible Canadian exploration expenses on the Monument Bay and TPK projects, with renunciation effective December 31, 2026. Non-flow-through proceeds are designated for working capital and general corporate purposes.
Each unit includes one common share and one-half of a warrant exercisable at $0.88 per share for two years following closing. Closing is expected around October 27, 2026, pending TSX Venture Exchange approval.
OnGold Resources Ltd. (ONAU) raised capital to address a cash burn of $3,661,768 in the first half of 2026, which reduced its cash balance from $7.62M at year-end 2025 to $4.38M by June 30, 2026. The financing supports the advancement of its Monument Bay and TPK projects in a high-cost environment.
Flow-through units were priced at a premium of $0.81-$0.93 compared to non-flow-through units at $0.58, aligning with typical Canadian junior mining financing structures. The $0.88 warrant exercise price sits slightly above the recent trading range of $0.60-$0.64. The capital raise is expected to extend the company's runway through late 2026 and early 2027 to fund planned drilling programs.
OnGold Resources Ltd. (ONAU) holds three distinct projects across Canada. The Monument Bay Project in Manitoba is in the advanced exploration stage, with a September 2026 NI 43-101 Mineral Resource Estimate defining 2.0 million ounces of gold in Measured & Indicated categories and 0.49 million ounces in Inferred. These resources are constrained within a conceptual open-pit shell at a $3,000/oz gold price assumption, though tungsten is present but excluded from the MRE.
The TPK Project in Ontario is in the discovery-led exploration stage, covering approximately 69,764 hectares. Recent 2025 drilling identified high-grade gold and copper-silver mineralization at Gold Ridge, including 19.39 g/t Au over 8.2 m. Permits are secured for fall 2026 drilling.
The October Gold Project in Ontario is an early-stage orogenic gold project where Evolution Mining earned a 75% interest through $7.0M in expenditures and $1.1M in cash payments over five years.
