Morocco Strategic Minerals Advances Multiple High-Grade Copper Targets Across its Western High Atlas District
Morocco Strategic’s high-grade copper channel sampling validates drill targets in Morocco's Western High Atlas.

Morocco Strategic Minerals Corporation (MCC) released systematic underground and surface channel sampling results from its Western High Atlas District, specifically targeting Ouneine, Tanfit, and Ijoukak.
At Ouneine underground (Gallery A), channel sampling identified eight sections averaging over 1.0% Cu, with a highlight of 5.74% Cu and 39 g/t Ag over 2.1m, including a higher-grade interval of 13.18% Cu and 88 g/t Ag over 0.9m. Surface channel sampling at Ouneine returned six channels exceeding 1.0% Cu, highlighted by 1.55% Cu and 199 g/t Ag over 2.0m.
Selective grab and stockpile sampling at Tanfit and Ijoukak revealed high-grade copper mineralization, with Tanfit stockpile samples returning up to 23.60% Cu and Ijoukak underground samples returning up to 27.68% Cu.
The company is integrating these results with geological mapping to refine drill targets, with the explicit goal of advancing toward an initial drilling campaign as rapidly as practicable. Assay methodology utilized Afrilab (SGS Certified) with standard QA/QC protocols. True widths have not been determined, and grab/stockpile samples are noted as selective.
Morocco Strategic Minerals Corporation (MCC) released results on August 20, 2026, marking a logical progression from the grab sampling data obtained on July 29, 2026, which identified up to 14.88% copper and 696 grams per tonne silver at the Ouneine site. The new channel sampling provides critical grade-and-width data that complements the earlier grab sampling, directly supporting the geological model and drill targeting.
These results materially validate the high-grade nature of the Western High Atlas portfolio. The update confirms management's stated path toward drilling and aligns with previous guidance, though it does not introduce new financing, M&A, or regulatory milestones. The company's fundamental stage and financial position remain unchanged.
Morocco Strategic Minerals Corporation (MCC) is an exploration-stage company focused on acquiring and developing mineral assets in Morocco's Western High Atlas region. The company holds an exclusive option to acquire up to an 80% interest in a district-scale portfolio via MNF Groupe Inc., which includes the Tanfit, Ijoukak, Amsghni, Ait Zekri, and Ighrm properties. MCC also holds a separate option for 100% of the Ouneine Mine license.
The Ouneine property, a copper-silver deposit, has shown consistent high-grade channel and grab sampling results, positioning it as the primary near-term drill target. In May 2026, the company sold its Sakami property in Quebec to Visible Gold Mines Inc. for 4 million shares and a 1% NSR royalty, a move that streamlines the company's focus toward its Moroccan assets.
