Blende Silver Mobilizes Drill Crew to Commence Maiden Drilling of Priority 3D IP Chargeability Anomalies at Flagship Blende Silver-Zinc-Lead Project, Yukon
Blende has begun maiden drilling on priority IP targets at its Yukon silver-zinc-lead exploration project.

Blende Silver Corp. (BAG) is mobilizing crews to its flagship Blende Silver-Zinc-Lead Project in north-central Yukon to begin the first phase of a multi-phase drilling program. The initial focus targets the Central Zone, specifically the Lower Central Zone and New Mountain Top areas, to test 3D induced polarization (IP) chargeability anomalies. These anomalies are interpreted to be several times greater in areal extent than the chargeability response over the existing West Zone resource.
The 3D IP survey completed in April 2026 identified chargeability highs coincident with low resistivity, a primary ranking criterion for sulphide mineralization. Historical drilling in the Central Zone previously positioned holes between anomalies rather than directly testing the strongest responses; this program corrects that targeting error. The company expects to drill one to two holes before the field season concludes in mid-September 2026, with plans to establish winter camp and airstrip infrastructure to support an expanded program in 2027.
Blende Silver Corp. (BAG) has confirmed the start of field operations, marking the transition from the April 2026 IP survey and the July 2026 Class 3 Mining Land Use Approval to active drilling. The company is focusing on the Central Zone to test for continuity between the West and East Zones, a logical extension of the existing 2021 resource which comprised 4.6 Mt Indicated and 42.2 Mt Inferred at a 1.5% ZnEq cutoff.
The market likely anticipated this mobilization given the prior permitting and geophysical updates. The start of drilling is a necessary operational step rather than a transformative event. No new financial guidance, major capital raise, or material resource update is announced alongside the mobilization, keeping the near-term financial impact neutral.
Blende Silver Corp. is an exploration-stage company focused on its 100%-owned Blende Silver-Zinc-Lead Project in the Keno Hill district of north-central Yukon. The property spans 5,345 hectares across 260 quartz claims and is accessible via winter road.
The project hosts a 2021 NI 43-101 compliant mineral resource consisting of: - 4,643 kt Indicated at 4.60% ZnEq - 42,243 kt Inferred at 4.49% ZnEq
These figures are based on a 1.5% ZnEq cutoff. The resource is anchored by the West Zone, with the East Zone located approximately 2 km away. The company is targeting the Central Zone to test for mineralization continuity. Past exploration totals more than $9.2 million, including 25,195 meters of drilling in 132 holes.
