Chemtrade Logistics closes $250-million note offering

CHEMTRADE ANNOUNCES CLOSING OF $250 MILLION SENIOR UNSECURED NOTE OFFERING
Chemtrade Logistics Income Fund's wholly owned subsidiary, Chemtrade Logistics Inc., has successfully closed its previously announced private placement offering of $250-million aggregate principal amount of 5.750 per cent senior unsecured notes due Oct. 1, 2032, of the company. As previously stated, the company will utilize the proceeds of the offering to repay indebtedness and for general corporate purposes.
The offering was underwritten by a syndicate of underwriters led by National Bank Capital Markets and BMO Capital Markets.
The notes were offered for sale in Canada on a private placement basis and to qualified institutional buyers pursuant to Rule 144A in the United States.
