Playfair drills three holes to date at Mount Uniacke
Playfair advances its first drill program in three decades at its Nova Scotia gold project.

Playfair Mining Ltd. (PLY) has commenced drilling at its Mount Uniacke property, part of the Golden Circle project in Nova Scotia. This marks the first core drilling at the site in over 30 years.
The fully financed program totals 2,950 metres across three geological targets: high-grade gold at the historic West Lake mine, a north-south vein zone at the Central Crossing, and a potential bulk-tonnage disseminated deposit at the Open-Cut area. The company has completed three of the planned 41 drill holes to date.
The program is supervised by Qualified Persons Greg Davison, PGeo, and Perry MacKinnon, PGeo.
Playfair Mining Ltd. (PLY) confirmed the execution of its previously announced $2.48 million private placement and the subsequent drilling contract with Lantech Drilling. The company stated that progress remains in line with the timeline announced in May 2026, with drilling expected to commence around June 15, 2026.
The announcement serves as a routine operational update confirming that the exploration phase has begun as planned, with no new market-moving information provided. While the news validates management's execution capability and removes the near-term risk of program delays, it does not alter the fundamental risk profile of the early-stage exploration company.
Playfair Mining Ltd. (PLY) is an early-stage gold exploration company focused on the Golden Circle project in southern Nova Scotia. The project comprises eight exploration properties covering 76.47 square kilometers, with the flagship property being Mount Uniacke. This site saw historic production of approximately 27,737 ounces between 1867 and 1941.
The geological setting is located within the Meguma Terrane, specifically the Goldenville Formation. Historic mining in the area focused on narrow, high-grade quartz veins and near-surface bulk-tonnage open cuts. The company is currently in the exploration stage, with no mineral resources or reserves reported. Playfair is compiling historic data and conducting geophysics to guide its first modern core drilling program in over 30 years.
