Silver North Continues Haldane Drilling and Commences Veronica Exploration, Yukon
Silver North advances Yukon drilling and soil programs ahead of September assays.

Silver North Resources Ltd. (SNAG) reports that it has completed 10 diamond drill holes covering approximately 2,550 metres at its flagship Haldane Silver Property. Two drill rigs are currently active, targeting the Main Fault structure to expand the deposit by 100 metres along strike and 150 metres downdip, as well as the Bighorn Target to follow up on anomalous results from 2019. Drill core from the first five mineralized holes has been sampled and shipped to ALS Laboratories, with assay results expected to begin arriving in September 2026. The 2026 drilling program is scheduled to continue into October.
The company has also commenced its 2026 field program at the Veronica Property in the Silvertip District. Activities include prospecting, mapping, and soil sampling across approximately 850 samples over a three-week period, focusing on expanding a 1.2 km by 1 km multi-element soil geochemical anomaly and targeting Carbonate Replacement Deposit (CRD) style mineralization. Management confirms the company is fully funded for its 2026 and 2027 drilling campaigns.
Silver North Resources Ltd. (SNAG) released an operational progress update on August 13, 2026, aligning with its June 15, 2026 announcement regarding the commencement of drilling and its February 2026 financing of $11.58 million. The update reports no new surprises, misses, or deviations from the previously communicated exploration plan. Drilling proceeded at a pace of approximately 2,550 meters over six weeks, and the Veronica soil program has commenced, consistent with management's stated timelines.
The confirmation of full funding for 2026 and 2027 reduces near-term dilution risk and execution uncertainty for the pre-revenue explorer. The market likely already priced in the drilling start and funding, meaning this update serves as a confirmation of execution rather than a new catalyst.
Silver North Resources Ltd. is a junior exploration company focused on silver, lead, zinc, and gold projects in the Yukon Territory. Its flagship asset is the Haldane Silver Property, an 8,579-hectare site that is 100% owned and located 25 km west of Keno City, adjacent to Hecla Mining’s producing Keno Hill Silver Mine. The company is targeting high-grade silver-lead-zinc-gold vein systems hosted in the Main Fault structure.
Secondary projects include the Veronica Property, also known as the GDR project, in the Silvertip District, which targets CRD-style mineralization. The company also holds the Tim Silver Property, which was fully retained by Silver North after Coeur Mining terminated its option in May 2026. The exploration strategy utilizes airborne geophysics, including SkyTEM and VTEM, along with LiDAR and diamond drilling to expand known targets and identify new structural controls.
