Silver North Completes Largest Drill Program To Date at Haldane Silver Project, Keno Hill Silver District, Yukon
Silver North completes its largest Haldane program with zero new assays, leaving the market waiting on pending results.

Silver North Resources Ltd. (SNAG) has completed its drilling program at the Haldane project, marking the largest campaign in the company’s history. The initiative consisted of 24 holes totaling 6,169 meters, meeting the stated goal of 5,000–7,000 meters.
The program tested several targets, including the Main Zone proximal to 2024–2025 drilling, Main Zone distal step-outs, Main FW, Main SW, Main Saddle, and North Main. Four holes were also drilled at the blind Bighorn target, located approximately 3 km from the Main Fault.
No new assay results are reported in this release. The only grades cited are re-referenced historical or previously reported numbers:
- HLD25-31 (Nov 17, 2025): 818 g/t Ag, 1.39 g/t Au, 2.54% Pb, 0.98% Zn over 13.15 m.
- Bighorn 2019 hole (Oct 22, 2019): 125.7 g/t Ag over 2.35 m (only hole ever drilled at Bighorn).
Additional work included airborne geophysics, structural and lithological mapping, prospecting, and the collection of 1,322 soil and 75 rock samples. All core, rock, and soil samples were shipped to ALS Labs in Whitehorse and Vancouver. The first tranche of results is expected in the first half of October 2026.
A collar table discloses all 24 holes with depth, target, coordinates, azimuth, and dip, providing a full disclosure of the program footprint. Jason Weber, P.Geo., President/CEO, supervised the technical information.
Silver North Resources Ltd. (SNAG) is a pre-resource, grassroots-to-intermediate explorer with no revenue, having reported a net loss of approximately C$0.41 million for the prior period ending FY-2025. The company is fully funded for 2026–2027 following an C$11.6 million financing completed in February 2026. While the completion of a large exploration program represents a milestone for an explorer, it is not a value event on its own; the value event is the assay tranche that follows.
The recent activity does not change the perceived scale, grade, or odds of the system. The scale framing of 24 holes, 6,169 meters, and new targets is new but unevidenced, and the numbers that would move the equity are still pending.
Regarding market expectations, the stock round-tripped from a C$0.49 peak in January 2026 to C$0.20–0.23, near its 52-week low, on essentially no fresh positive catalysts for nine months. The Main Fault discovery anchor is not embedded at today's price, as the market has stopped paying for it. This dynamic suggests that a genuinely strong 2026 assay could be materially positive, while this pre-result release serves as a placeholder the market has no reason to trade on.
There is no resource, reserve, mine-life, or NAV change. This is not an earnings or milestone release, and no new financials were disclosed today.
Silver North Resources Ltd. (TSX-V: SNAG; OTCQB: TARSF; Frankfurt: I90) is a Yukon-focused silver explorer with no revenue. Its flagship asset is the 100%-owned Haldane Silver Project, an 8,579-hectare, road-accessible property located 25 km west of Keno City, adjacent to Hecla Mining's producing Keno Hill mine. The company reports three Keno-style silver vein discoveries across 24 drillholes, with the Main Fault being the recent focus.
The company also holds the Tim and Veronica silver projects in the Silvertip District, which are CRD-style targets for Ag-Pb-Zn. The Veronica property’s Betty target features a greater than 1 km by 1 km multielement soil anomaly and high-grade float. Coeur terminated the Tim option effective May 24, 2026, allowing Silver North to retain 100% ownership.
Regarding its financial position, the company states it is fully funded for 2026 and 2027. Prior-period context from the first quarter of 2026, covering the three months ended December 31, 2025, shows cash of approximately C$2.57 million and total equity of approximately C$11.5 million. With approximately 81.97 million shares outstanding, the book value per share is approximately C$0.14.
In August 2026, Orogen Royalties acquired a 2% net smelter return (NSR) on Haldane for C$500,000 on closing plus capped future payments.
