Goldsky Announces Commencement of Metallurgical Test Work on the Avan and Central Zones at the Barsele Project in Sweden
Goldsky’s metallurgical testing advances the Barsele PEA timeline, reinforcing its Nordic gold pipeline.

Goldsky Resources Corp. has initiated metallurgical test work on composite samples from the Central and Avan zones of its Barsele Project in Sweden. The program is being conducted by Alfred Knight in the United Kingdom and includes crusher comminution tests, Bond rod and ball mill tests, gravity gold recovery tests, gold leach kinetic tests, and detoxification tests.
The primary objective of the testing is to gather data on power requirements and reagent dosage to inform the company’s upcoming Preliminary Economic Assessment (PEA). The testing program is expected to take approximately 16 weeks, with results to be released to the market as they become available. Management states the maiden PEA report for Barsele is expected in 2027. CEO Russell Bradford emphasized that this testing is a critical piece of information for the process design and resource update ahead of the PEA.
Goldsky Resources Corp. (GSKR) announced metallurgical testing as a standard operational step in the development of its mineral project toward a preliminary economic assessment (PEA). The testing was already anticipated as part of the 2026 work program following the consolidation of 100% ownership of Barsele in June 2026. The announcement does not introduce new capital, new partnerships, or unexpected drill results.
