Cosa Announces Results of Partner Funded Airborne Radiometric Survey at the Aurora Uranium Project, Athabasca Basin, Saskatchewan
Denison advances Phoenix construction and JV partner exploration at zero cost.

Cosa Resources Corp., in which Denison Mines Corp. holds an 18.9% stake, announced results from a property-wide airborne radiometric and magnetic survey at its Aurora uranium project. The survey was fully funded by partner Traction Uranium Corp. under an option agreement, identifying multiple uranium-source radiometric anomalies adjacent to prospective basement features.
Aurora is located 16 km east of Cameco's Key Lake Mill. No diamond drilling has occurred at the property since 1979. A follow-up drill program is planned for fall 2026, also 100% funded by Traction, pending completion of Cosa's current drilling at Murphy Lake North and Darby, which are both 70/30 joint ventures with Denison.
Denison Mines Corp. (DML) announced routine positive news regarding low-cost, partner-funded exploration on a joint venture asset. The activity does not directly impact the company’s near-term cash flows, production guidance, or the Phoenix construction timeline. The announcement signals a healthy, active exploration pipeline in the Athabasca Basin, supporting long-term optionality without diluting equity or straining the balance sheet. The market has already priced in the Phoenix construction start, making this incremental exploration news that aligns with the company's joint venture strategy.
Denison Mines Corp. (DML) is a uranium developer and producer focused on the Athabasca Basin in Saskatchewan. Its flagship asset is the Wheeler River Project, in which it holds a 95% effective interest, comprising the Phoenix in-situ recovery (ISR) deposit and the Gryphon underground deposit. The company also holds a producing interest in the McClean Lake Joint Venture, which includes a mill and Sabre mining operations.
Denison’s exploration and joint venture portfolio includes an extensive land package featuring the Midwest and Waterbury Lake properties, as well as joint ventures with Cosa, Skyharbour, and Foremost. The company’s strategy is to advance Phoenix to production by mid-2028 while leveraging joint venture partners for exploration upside.
