Arbor Metals to conduct phase 3 Kemlee Lake exploration
Arbor’s shallow Shaw drilling at Kemlee Lake advances exploration efforts amid ongoing capital constraints.

Arbor Metals Corp. (ABR) announced a Phase 3 exploration program scheduled for Fall 2026 at its wholly owned Kemlee Lake lithium project in central Ontario. The initiative will employ man-portable Shaw drills to test approximately 20 metres of depth, targeting priority zones identified through 2025 bark and rock sampling as well as geophysical surveys. Management has described this shallow program as a cost-effective precursor to a larger diamond drilling campaign, which remains contingent on financing and operational planning.
In a corporate governance update, Director Alex Klenman resigned effective immediately to pursue other opportunities. The announcement follows a series of exploration updates at the Jarnet Lithium Project, including the completion of Phase 1 2026 drilling totaling approximately 2,200 metres and prior high-grade lithium intercepts up to 0.58% Li.
Arbor Metals Corp. (ABR) announced an expected, incremental step in its exploration cycle, a move that does not constitute a material development. The company stated that no immediate financial or operational impact is expected, noting that the program is explicitly subject to financing. Additionally, the resignation of a director is considered routine and does not alter the company's strategic direction or capital requirements. Given Arbor Metals' reliance on equity financing and lack of revenue, exploration announcements of this nature do not de-risk the investment thesis.
Arbor Metals Corp. (ABR) is a development-stage exploration company focused on lithium and rare earth elements in Canada. Its flagship assets include the Jarnet Lithium Project in Quebec, the Kemlee Lake Lithium Project in Ontario, and the recently acquired Ernest REE Project in Quebec. The company has no revenue-generating properties and is entirely reliant on equity financing to fund exploration and general working capital. An investor presentation references a gold project in Burkina Faso (Rakounga), which appears misaligned with the company's current Canadian lithium and rare earth element focus and may be outdated or unrelated to the active portfolio.
